Hi Yazik, I have been following these brothers for about three years, they are really brilliant. They are actual siblings, which may account for their close harmonies. They have performed at the Cavern Club in Liverpool and in the USA for victims of the super typhoon Yolanda which devastated their home town, Tacloban City in 2013. All of their names begin with R then Evasco Otic, hence REO.They do other covers and are just as good at doing those. They either really practice a lot or are just naturally gifted or maybe both. You should check out their version of Alan Parsons Project Eye in the sky, also the Bee Gees medley. Stay safe

There recent release of the Eye in the Sky by Parsons is PHENOMENAL! If you read their history, you will find out that RJ was the first to play. He started out on TIN CANS as drums, self taught himself how to play drums, taught Ralph to play drums who, in turn, taught Reno how to play drums! What a TALENTED FAMILY AND A GENEROUS GIFT FROM GOD! I was working this evening and when it was time for my relief person to show up, I put the REO BROTHERS "NOWHERE MAN" on and turned off the screen. My relief guy is a HUGE BEATLES FAN and he came in and said "HEY, THAT'S THE BEATLES"! So, I asked him which Beatles were singing and he said Paul and John. I turned on the screen and I said "CLOSE!! IT'S RALPH, RAYMART, RJ, AND RENO"! That was an hour ago. I just got a text from him saying "THESE KIDS ARE GREAT"! GREAT is a slight UNDERSTATEMENT!

Penny Lane was composed by Lennon & McCartney & was released in 1967 by the Beatles, the main solo part is sung by Paul McCartney. These Reo bros. are literally bros, thus they sound alike in their vocals. This song was popular way before they were born. They gained popularity when typhoon Yolanda, wiped out their whole town & their homes. They walked to safety with their guitars and travelled to Manila, they looked at a business card they once received while in Tacloban where a promoter asked to give him a call if they are in Manila. They hung dry the card and called him. They were guested in ABS CBN and the rest was history. They received gigs in Liverpool, at the Cavern where the Beatles originally played. Slowly they rebuilt their homes.

Do you know that they have many fans around the world? Try to search them in facebook and the majority of the comments come from foreigners. They so loved REO Brothers...and so do I. They are the first and only filipino band who performed at The Cavern in 2015 and 2016 where the original Beatles used to perform and sing. These siblings are still in their 20s ATM.

They are real brothers who first came out when their place "Tacloban City" was hit by the strongest typhoon (Hayan) recorded in the entire history. They were practically teenagers then doing concerts to raise funds for their devastated place, They were invited to perform in the Christmas party of the ABS-CBN, the largest tv network in the Philippines, where they got standing ovations. That was the start of everything until they reached and crossed "Abbey Road" in UK were the Beatles crossed before. They are the first Asian to perform in Cavern where the Beatles used to perform before. They have been to US, LOndon, Australia, Japan etc on tour

Thank you for reacting to the REO Brothers. They are an excellent tribute band And they covered different international bands mostly 60’s-80’s eras. There are many performances to choose from in KZbin if you like the music in these eras, like I do. Trivia: The Beatles was very popular in the Philippines. They came to the Philippines to do a concert and was invited by Pres Marcos to do a courtesy call in the Malacanang Palace (official residence of the President of the Philippines) and they refused. So Pres Marcos kicked them out of the country immediately and didn’t manage to perform in their concert.
