Thank you for your amazing reaction to Forestella again! They showed their Smooth Criminal performance in Immortal Songs 10th anniversary special episode for the first time. Also they performed it in live during their concert tour for their 3rd album; The Forestella. It was a big surprise even for their fans they danced quite well like this because Forestella is a crossover vocal group consisted of 2 classical vocals, 1 ex-chemist rocker and 1 musical actor who majors in acting. I mean none of them was a dancer at all..OK, at least the musical actor (Bae DooHoon) danced best of them and even the classical bass (Ko WooRim) dreamed to be a dancer-singer when he was a middleschooler, they were not used to dance as they are basically classical crossover quartet. They tried some "movement" barely couldn't call it dance in Gondre Mandre (Dead Drunk) performance before. So I thought they would do like that again. But BAAAM! Even I'm a fan of them I wasn't expecting such a dance move. They said they tried so hard practicing their moves 6 hours a day to do justice to this song. Because MJ's Smooth Criminal needs dance to be completed. No one in this world would reach the dance of MJ, but I felt Forestella approached close to the song. I saw their Smooth Criminal in live since their concert tour opened. And I kept following their concert tour afterwards as well, I was surprised every time they got improved a lot not only the dance but also the singing. The only one bad thing was prohibition of screaming for covid situation. After 1 year, in the Forestellla Festival 2022 they revived it as the covid situation got less gross and the audience could shout as wished so badly. Even it was a cold rainy evening at the moment, Forestella was a FIRE🔥indeed. Forestella is one of a kind. I love them so much!

4:31 the camera wasn't focusing on Bae DooHoon singing the high part "I don't know~ I don't know~ I don't know~" It's better shown in the Immortal Songs 10th anniversary performance. I think you were curious of 5:09 who was singing "hoh! hoh! hoh!" like MJ (Cho MinGyu did this part, Kang HyungHo did "ttah!" But seems you thought Cho MinGyu did "ttah!" because the camera focused on MinGyu and MinGyu was holding the mic BTW) I added about DooHoon and MinGyu as many comments well explained about Kang HyungHo already. It's hard to distinguish the voices of each part by only one time watching, I hope you watch another versions from the Immortal Songs or from fan-cams as well.

Forestella are not really dancers, but they did just fine😊. ❤This was the first time they did anything this choreographed 😅Perhaps checkout their original song and m/v KOOL which evolved from a promise to fans that if their original m/v Save Our Lives reached 990 000 views they would do a cover of K-pop song and dance…target was achieved, and we got an original instead of a cover as a thank you to fans.😅

The camera did focus for a second on Kang Hyungho , who was singing those high notes, at 4:56 of your video. He has an incredibly wide range, and is the rock voice of the group.

Quite a few of the adlibs were done by Cho Mingyu. Bae Doo Hoon did the “I don’t know” part. Of course Hung Ho does a few as well. You can see it in the Immortal songs 10th anniversary celebration video. That was when they performed it for the first time. It’s in a much brighter setting so easier to see. It just shows how well they work together. They move between lead and supporting roles very easily often using different vocal styles and ranges.

These two parts are the only ad-libs, and Hyeong-ho also produces Michael Jackson's characteristic hiccuping sound and short single-word scream. This was revealed through V Live.
