Kayrina lost her husband 6 months after their wedding sonyou can just imagine the pain and devastation she went through...but this cover was bedore thr tragedy though. in fact, i think, her late husband, Mike Shapiro, was one of the producerrs of this project., because her husband was a former professor, drummer/overall musician, producer and he had big projects with Disney and Hollywood in general. he had an extensive portfolio and it's just sad because they could've had bigger projects together and Katrina could've learned a lot from him because Katrina started producing herself...but that wasn't God's plan for them so Katrina had to power through without him...and she was able to overcome the pain and was able to continue with life and with her career as Mike would've wanted.

I believe Kat also lost her sister before they had this session so this cover carried a bit more weight to her. And yeah she did lost Mike later on, not a great time for Kat during that stretch.

​@@wrider34Kat is such a trooper for being able to maintain her professionalism when she came back. everyone was expecting her to break down during performances but she's such a strong person and i admire her so much for showing that you . can still deliver a good performance despite being in a very difficult situation. tbh, i don't know why but i still feel sad when i see Mike in her videos because i know how much they loved each other and helped each other personally and professionally.

Sadly Kat had lost her only sister to cancer a few months prior to this being done , in 2018. She married Mike Shapiro in May 2021 and he passed in Nov. of that year , apparently , mental health were issues he was dealing with. Yes she is only 4'10" and was standing on a 6" block for this. There is a BTS video of this being done.

In the Philippines, cover bands that perform in Hotels, music bars, cruise ships can technically sing anything, any genres. They are prepared for live guests' requests. They just need the lyrics and chords or karaoke machine. How much more if they are top-notch Artists like these 4?. 🏆😍

These guys are sooooo talented individually and when put together, they're magic. They really collab beacuse no one is trying to out-sing and out-shine anyone. They are all friends and generally like each other. You have to listen/watch this video a few more times so you can really pick up what each one of them are doing and such a treasure trove. Also, this was way before she lost Mike Shapiro who in his own right, is a legend. Remember when Peter Cetera and Cher did a duet as the main theme of “Chances Are”? The song was “After All”, and it’s one of those timeless 80s love songs. Check out Daryl Ong and Gigi de Lana collaborate in their cover of this song. The music industry doesn’t produce songs like this anymore, so I’m glad these two reintroduced it to the world.

Most of the singers in the philippines doesn't have any vocal coach but do karaokes and compete. That is why you will see things that they do that vocal or music teachers teach no to do when you sing. But hey they are great even if they don't have any professional teacher.
