New here. XG - “Winter Without You” really really showcases their vocals. Their First Take performance would be perfect for you to react to because they just sing directly into the mic, no crazy production, just live vocals, doesn’t get anymore raw. Thank you for reacting to XG!

Best Live vocals by XG is the Japanese channel "First Take" (only 1 take allowed, live vocals into quality mics) where they sing 2 songs, "Winter Without You" and "Shooting Star" , then on the Korean channel " It's Live" where it is live vocals with a live band ( some recorded background adlib vocals allowed for texture, but all main vocals are live) where they do the same 2 songs, Winter Without You ( with a jazz arrangement with horn section) and Shooting Star. Then they have their isolated vocal videos called VOX, series where you can hear Solo, Duet and Trio vocals from the vocalists, and if you want to hear the rappers, it's called their Tape series, 1,2,3a,& 3b.

LOL it has been mentioned by others a dozen times already ... but you should really watch Winter Without You (and I personally prefer the The First Take live vocals version as well). Another possibility - the vocalists have their own special series, XG Vox. I'd recommend Vox #5 because there all three of them are in one MV. For another next level MV production, go to GRL GVNG (Girl Gang). And for yet another side, Hesonoo & X-Gene.

Thank you for reacting to our Xtraordinary Girls! XG is known for absolutely stunning visuals for their music videos. But they are also insanely talented in everything from dancing, rapping, and most definitely vocals. If you want a more grounded video with mostly vocals I suggest their holiday single “WINTER WITHOUT YOU on First Take” their you will truly see how incredible their vocals are as a group.

Love your reaction and analysis! ONE OK ROCK, Japanese band, has a phenomenal vocalist, Taka, he covered *HELLO and Easy On Me - Adele, he can sing it in original key* check them out!! Love the puppet show at the end =))))) But for real! Like everybody's saying, check Winter Without You! I believe that's what you're looking for (what you mentioned towards the end). I recommend watching the music video first. Then jump into their First Take version of it. I promise you, you won't regret it.

All of their videos are basically mini movies. Never disappoints. As I am sure you have seen, check out Winter Without You from the First Take or It's Live. Their mini album that they released tells a great story through their songs. Absolutely worth a look through.

A lot of these songs are written in Atlanta...you should watch those videos as well...Simon (their producer) collaborating with the songwriters...and you can hear the song slowly form. For people who haven't been in a studio before, it's eye-opening.

The debut song is "Tippy Toes" Popular songs are "Mascara" , "Shooting Star" , "Left Right" and "GRL GVNG" Other check out XG's KZbin channel, where members rap and cover Justin Bieber's songs. Everyone speaks Japanese, Korean, and English, so the rap is a mix of three countries.

Check out the XG "WINTER WITHOUT YOU" (THE FIRST TAKE version) First Take is a Japanese KZbin channel that features artists' one-shot performances. Many foreign artists also appear, including Avril Lavigne and Harry Styles.

(Which I find preferable to vocals without emoting.)
