I went through VOICE POLYP surgery last month. I had a polyp on each side wall. My voice was always cracked. As i am a tennis coach, i used to scream and shout at the top of my voice, did not care too much before i was diagnosed and said it needed a surgery It was a small procedure, about half an hour under general anasthesia. Immediately after surgery, i had pain in my throat. But not too much pain. It reduces after one day. I could eat or drink anything after one day For 1 week i had been given compete voice rest, cant speak a single word. And upto 1 month only 25% words, very low voice In one month it became normal voice again. Surgery costed me about 40,000 Indian rupees
