@@logik200 Angelina's other guitarist, Ivan Mendez, stated that the most difficult thing about playing with Angelina, was to concentrate on his playing as he would get totally engulfed in her vocals. He said that if they had to do more than one take, it was his fault, as Angelina was always on point.

As ever a lovely, enthusiastic and fabulous reaction. Thanks guys. And please replay it in your own time and watch really closely. Angelina has about 5 looks at Egil her guitarist during this from pretty early on where it is literally just an eye movement glance, to looking at him and his engrossed head bopping in between verses and turning virtually almost towards him. This is whilst at the same time, reading / checking the lyrics in front of her ( something AJ will often do) and smiling at whoever is behind the camera (probably Grandma Mery) and as you say the voice is amazing and with the above taken into account it is even more so. Maybe no wonder then as towards the end when Egil goes into his own world, Angelina cracks up and can not hold the laughter in any more which I think was starting and building from 02:36 in your video when Angelina has the quick glance followed by a wry smile 😄 I think it is lovely we have the opportunity to see these videos and enjoyment, laughter happening as opposed to always feeling the need to have fully polished, 5 takes, autotuned, photoshopped video's. (Oh of course you won't find any of them in Angelina's channels as she rarely does more than 1 or 2 takes. 😄) Thank you to Grandma Mery of Mom Sara for doing such lovely recordings. Right - I'm off to watch your reaction to Heal the World which I know you have already just done, and to see if Asia get's as emotional as I did. (And you too BJ ! ;-) )

Another very nice reaction, Asia and BJ. Even in contemporary songs (this David Guetta song is about 11 years old) Angelina still manages to give her magnificent interpretation, full of passion and with an impressive technical ability, at only 11 years, this cover is incredibly simple but at the same time reflects the beautiful relationship that Angelina has with Egil, her Norwegian guitarist, who accompanied her from the beginning until Angelina's family moved to Los Angeles Many of today's young singers are exceptional, but she has a totally unique knack for melody and genre versatility, no matter how beautiful the older versions of the song she chooses, she always manages to transform it and make another one just as beautiful if not even better version. She just needs a simple background to create her magic of hers and, every time, she does it with amazing ease 😮 ❤️

No, she did NOT mess up, - she finally gave in and laughed out loud at Egil's insane head bobbing... And not the first time, they go way back to her starting giving performances. He is brilliant and very grounded and supportive. These sessions are very laidback. They do a lot of just improve usually just the one or max two takes on the spot. Like her and Ivan later on. She is that good and she lets us in on it all even when she mix up words or in one video starts crying. She is the real thing and we are SO blessed to be able to see all of her journey.. Egil told about this in an interview, and said he does this with his head subconsciously to keep his beat since there are no other instruments to rely on. Angelina's seen him do it other times, but this time he seemed to be really "in to it". LOL

Angelina does those covers in the moment, just picks the song in KZbin, practices a little and then does it in one or two takes. She is so talented. In Oslo with Erwin, in Los Angeles with Ivan. Ivan said in an interview by Alam Papier that when he was playing for her there were moments that he was lost enchanted with her voice. Here Angelina starts laughing at Erwin's head bob. In a rehearsal with a band in another video singing Cry me a river she starts laughing because of a man sitting in a couch that is playing with his long hair while looking at his phone. Then she starts clowning around.

That "man" on the couch is her uncle Michael (her manager) and he keeps swiping his long hair out of his face where it keeps falling as he's trying to read (or text) something on his phone I think. And Angelina did find the sight of it to be absolutely hilarious. btw. The guitarist's name is Egil (not Erwin). No problem though, most folks just call him "bobble-head" (just kidding).

She laught because of how the guitarist moves and nods his heads. She has alot of songs with this guy. But there is another song with him where he does the same thing and she laughs because the way hes "rocking" and nodding his head pretty crazy. And he said in Norwegian "im just sitting here rocking". And thats why she laughed. My first comment kept getting deleted for some reason.. Not once not twice but three times! What a wonderfull gift she has, make me feel the music EVERY single time.. i know her since her first performance and havent yet heard a single piece i dont like. Even the highpaid superstars havent achieved that, no matter who i am thinking off, all have pieces i dont can stand. She performes music out of genres i did not like at all but barely know and it instantly blows me away..i am amazed by the intensity of the emotions she transfers with her art of singing.

Her guitarist said that for most of the covers they left it at 1-2 takes, that's why you often see snippets of them just spontaneously jamming. I think that speaks for a healthy upbringing of her musical education in a sense that she had fun rehearsing instead of being forced. She cracked up at the end here because of the head bob of the guitarist. He has always made her laugh with that move ever since she was a kid. In that video it says she's 7, which is a mistake, in fact she was 8 there. Its just her and a piano at 12yrs old, in her bedroom..This very different than Diana's version...l liked Diana's exciting performance, but l personally didn't think it spoke to the heart of the song as Angelina's...

The prodigy that she is is wildly at display on her songs from her 6-9 year old period. Then, if you wanna have a listen to her DEEP vocal abilty, check her version of "How Great Thou Art" out.
