Always great to see Angelina and Juliette having fun. I have turned 180 degrees on my thought process concerning Republic Records. I have been critical of Republic for not promoting her first two singles. I now like to think Republic has given Angelina and her family what they desired and that is the freedom to create without interference AND allow Angelina to finish her schooling before having her career explode. We angels need to be patient and in the meantime, I will work harder at helping my neighbors which is so important to Angelina and her family. I will be requesting reactors to support a charity or find other ways to help those in need.

There is a reactor out there (who is also supposedly a record producer) that does a lot of Angelina reactions, and he said he thinks Republic Records are allowing Angelina the freedom to be creative for the first year, with any pressure to perform. He said he thinks next year they will start releasing more songs that they will promote heavily, and then really push her first album. I'm not sure how right he may be, but I like the thought.

Great song, is this the only "happy" song from Amy Winehouse (of course just a cover by Amy)? This recording was obviously when Angelina hadn't yet spent much time in LA, her pale Norwegian skin tone later was replaced by a California sun tan. The setting certainly helps put across the upbeat nature of the song. The range of styles that Angelina can cover is just mind blowing, I'm sure that there are many more great performances to come from her, so looking forward to more of your reactions!

A little history on the song in case you didn't already know, the song was originally by the Zutons, then Mark Ronson got his hands on it to do a cover and asked Amy Winehouse to provide the vocals. It was never actually an Amy Winehouse song although i understand how people think it is since the Mark Ronson (Feat') Amy Winehouse cover was more popular than the original. You guys are awesome! I absolutely look forward to your reactions. You have such a long way to go with Angelina as there are 135 recordings on KZbin going from age 6 to 15. There is a chronological playlist at Rusty shackleford's homepage on KZbin. The first 10 or so are originals and special songs. Then it starts at age 6 and moves forward to the present. I'm sure many can recommend songs here, but you can also choose ones that you like. I would highly recommend What A Difference A Day Makes when she was 8 at the outdoor concert. I would also recommend Feeling Good, indoor concert age 10. Age 12, it's a Man's World with the military band outdoors.

Angelina is 12 here, and having a fun family day at Venice Beach. The scene stealer is little sister Juliette. This song was written by Dave McCabe, lead singer of the Zutons. Mark Ronson rearranged it into a more upbeat song, and featured Amy Winehouse on vocal. And we know that Angelina loves Amy. Angelina is the only singer I know who can tailor her voice to the situation. She sounds a lot like Amy here, then she does a song like "Born to Die" (here's the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/en-4XnuZgdqClas) and sounds more like Lana Del Rey, only much better. Something many observe after they have watched a few Angelina videos is her "dual personality". She IS a little girl still in many of her videos after all (a young woman now though don't you know...), and in some of them you can catch glimpses of her "acting her age" when she is not performing. But as soon as the music starts she switches back to "Angelina the artist", and that Angelina is all business, far beyond her years. Still a very sweet young lady though, just more serious. It's simply mind boggling to think of her fooling around with her little sister on a playground one minute, and then after going home start singing just like Ella or Billie for a while, only to go back to do what other ten year old girls do... It's like: AJ, ON...AJ, OFF within seconds! 😍👍
