The screams are definitely not upfront. But I feel like the clean vocals were loud enough. My first listen to this song, I was confused. I didn’t understand the arrangement. But then after 3 or 4 listens I ended up loving it!

Yup, the clean vocals were nicely put in the mix, really upfront, similar to the last part of The Summoning, or Aqua Regia/Granite. Clearly in those parts, including the clean part in Vore, are the focal point of the song, from a vocal point of view. It's def a grower. Thank you for being here! 🙌

I think the mix for this song was deliberate. They distorted the screams so it wasnt the main focal point. Give it another listen and you will end up liking it alot more. It grew on me but I definitely have this song as my number 3.

Don't get me wrong :)) I love the song and it was clearly deliberate... I was just saying that I would've loved to hear his technique clearer and that, personally, I like when the voice is a bit more upfront. Good song nonetheless. Thank you for being here! 🙌

I think the reason that only Vore was released is that they wanted to announce the release date of Take Me Back To Eden which we now know is May 19th and maybe this time they want to keep some songs back for the album. I know that’s a different approach from the last two albums especially Sundowning but with TMBTE being the conclusion to a trilogy they could be wanting to keep that sense of mystery going for as long as possible. Obviously I could be wrong as you never know with Sleep Token but I feel that they may drop one or two songs around release day and they will be playing in Australia around that time so could be wanting to debut some new songs there like they did here in the Uk when they played Granite and Aqua Regia before dropping them a few hours later.
