At the very end of the Christmas Show on December 21, 2021, Angelina performed "You Say", I lost my breath, and I got chills, and the tears began to fall. I am an atheist, and my faith is in mankind, not some mythical being. I believe the song "You Say" is referring to Angelina's Angles, those that support her in her quest. There must be a supernatural place in the universe, how else can we explain this being called Angelina Jordan.

Lauren's sound is somewhere between Adele and Angelina. I have no problem picking out Angelina between the two of them, but I've been listening a LOT to her the last few years. Very nice mashup by kaleidoscope! Lauren is a wonderful singer, but Angelina is the rising queen here, untouchable :)

I say "You Say" is one of Angelina's best performances. She ended her online Christmas concert in 2021 with this song. Moves me emotionally and spiritually each time. Thanks Lauren for writing such a beautiful song.

Hi there - away from this unique voice imho the biggest difference to other singers is that Angelina can convey emotions like nobody i have ever heard - she had to be the Empath of all Empaths - top notch nobody can reach - every damn time i need tishues because she gets me again and i love it - and the song gets me too - so beautiful and Lauren is also a wonderful singer i have to dig in her music... - i saw Angelinas christmas concert 2021 and i was so sad she could not sing in Front of a Real Audience because this is what Angelina is born to do - the stage is her playground - music is her breathing ang being with us her fun time - cheers from a 59 year old fanboy from Germany

This was the highlight of the Xmas online concert she did last 2021. This is her last song she dedicated to her fans, us angels. I believe that Lauren and Angelina share the same outlook in life so yes the collab is just right in the corner. I mean two artists both have passion and advocates of spreading beautiful messages to the world thru music... It is just a matter of when.

Very similar in this song yes,but Angelina has countless variations to her vocals.Listen for the vocal fry and vibratto.Same has been said about her and Adele,Amy Winehouse,Billie Holiday etc.She can also sing almost any genre of music at a high level.It is awesome anytime that she gets compared to any great singer,so thanks for that.

Lauren Daigle is one of my favorite Christian artists, primarily because she has the tone and quality of Angelina. I absolutely love listening to her music. She brings passion and conviction to her performances that is contagious, just like Angelina. I think what differentiates Angelina's performance is the phrasing. She has a more natural rhythm to her singing which sounds more like she is telling a story. Another note that makes it even more remarkable is that Lauren's track was recorded and produced in a studio for an album release when she was 28 years old and the track we heard from Angelina was taken from the last song of a 9-song live streamed performance when she was 15 years old (almost 16). Both artists are remarkable and the song is amazing. Thanks for the reaction.

great reaction brother... the whole christmas concert '21 of Angelina was wonderful, but this song at the end definitely was the highlight. I had never heard the name of Lauren Daigle or the song before, so after I had watched the christmas concert several times I went to Lauren's channel, and I was blown away. Funny side note: This song by Lauren was used in a German christmas commercial and I swear when I saw that commercial I thought it was Angelina singing... yeah, we need a collab of both of them... Listening to this restores my faith in Angelina, because each time after "We're The Best" I feel so depressed, a nightmare of a song for me, of course great exposure for Angelina, but I'm not even sure if I would call that music, as music for me is something inspired by the muses, but that was only inspired by money... if it wasn't for Angelina I would click it away after 30 seconds... actually after watching the live première at the FIFA awards I was so down I almost cried, and I usually don't watch reactions to it because it always makes me mad... so listening to "You Say" resurrects my faith and I really do hope her album will go in this direction and not the FIFA way,,, In case you're curios to see the commercial, here it is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGGVeKaimMh5hsU

There is a lot of similarity between the two. However, I can definitely pick out Angelina. She has a more distinct sound! Lauren has a beautiful voice, I continue to prefer Angelina.

Hi Rofer, You absolutely nailed this one! No question about the similarities in their voice and their message. In this song, they are match made in heaven. I would love to see them do more together. Angelina did a Christmas concert in 2021 for her fans and closed the concert with this song. Everyone was stunned as it is probably one of her finest performances. She said it would be released soon but it never was and we don't know the reasons. However, in past months it has been leaked on KZbin more and more frequently and is now just out there. Hi! Thank you for continuing to react to Angelina. With nearly 70 reactions, you are certainly aware that she is worth every nanosecond you spend watching and listening to her. That being so, I am puzzled that you think they have "an identical tone". For me, Angelina's tone is much richer, and she introduces that distinctive rasp into some of her phrasing, and while I like Lauren's voice and commend her song writing abilities, for interpretation of those lyrics it is Angelina all the way for me.

You are so right about their tone being very similar; a little more rasp from Angelina. Their phrasing is subtly different, but their tone is almost the same. Therefore, it would not be a good idea for Angelina to put this on any album that she releases. You don't want to put a cover on your album that sounds almost like the original. I'm confident that she will not include this on her new album. The really cool thing would be for Lauren to feature Angelina (or vice versa) at one of her concerts. A real duet of them on this wonderful song would be over the moon.

An ultimate experience of feeling love is Lauren and Angelina singing this live at an upcoming Angelina Concert. It would literally raise the roof and there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house!
