It just says everything about her that almost every single person reacting to Nightwish immediately starts calling her a goddess. :D And yes, NW's sound engineers are the best of the best. you know it's about to get real when the drummer stands up! Floor's stage presence and windmills are equally as legendary as her singing. her and Marco singing together is just indescribable. i often wonder if there was a moment during rehearsals and sound checks when they looked at each other and thought, damn we sound Awesome! Wacken Open Air is well known for the quality of the recording you get when performing there.

15 songs in the set at Wacken 2013. Every song is better than the last one...no matter how you choose them to react to. I found Nightwish 6 months ago and have listened to this concert at least 50 times, and as many reactions as I can find. Still get chills, goosebumps, and tears. Before you react to Poet and the Pendulum(not in this concert), you MUST do some research. It is an emotional composition and requires some understanding. Tuomas' words, sung by Floor in a most empathic and expressive way. But YES...do this concert one song at a time. It will help you get to know the band. This concert is a big part of the adventure, but it is just the tip of the iceberg! Welcome to the ARMY!!

the level of creativity in reguards to the feel and rhythm of this song gets faster and definitley showcases what this band is capable of doing not just rhythmically but the layers of color along with the extremely talented professional musicians being able to such effortlessly transitions between sounds whether they be drums vocals guitars or troy flute or pipes the communication that this band has with each other is really something beautifully synced up, locked in that sort of thing with those sounds

You earned my thump without any doubt. What a great comment. Nightwish is the best symphonic metal band of the world and Floor the third leadsinger made the band known for ever. She is brilliant and she can sing anything. If you want to be convinced, listen to two totally different numbers. "Yours an empty hope" in which Floor does the low crawls (unbelievable) and than "The poet and the pendulum" the masterpiece of Tuomas, the keyboard player and composer of all Nightwish numbers. Absolutely no need to go back to 2013 - Nightwish are very much still alive, starting out on a new world tour this summer - and they are better than ever!!! In 2013, Floor was singing old songs not written to her incredible range - from 2015 - the songs are!!!! And when she joined the band in 2012, and became permanent member in 13, she brought along a huge new energy and whole new level of stage power - and direct contact/dialog with the audience!! As both Floor herself along with the rest of the band said - she found "home" - both Nightwish and Floor started on an evolutionary journey, that is still very much in progress - they are breaking new land in what's possible to do - and how!!! Imagine being in the world's top 3 composers and songwriters - and suddenly realize that you have no more limitations, boundaries or whatsoever to cope with in your writing and creating - Floor are able to do completely insane and complicated things with her voice and breath techniques - and far better than you as a writer can ever imagine - because it hasn't been done before.... That is the current state of Nightwish!! But - this Wacken 2013 concert are legendary (like Wembley and Tampere 2015 - and Buenos Aires 2018 - and the recent 2 Virtual shows will be) 😂 - so I fully understand what you say. Floor is one of those artists who have a very good sense on drama. Her body movements, expressions and timing is pitch perfect. She in a way really understands the music and expresses it through not only her godly voice, but also through everything else as well. She takes in the drama of Tuomas' music and expresses it as her own. A goddamn treasure in Floor Nightwish captured, since neither Tarja or Annette could never express the music as Floor does. And Marco has always been awesome.

I think for many, this whole performance that night is one of the best ever. With the whole backstory of how the good Floor joined the band in the middle of this tour and within the shortest time made all the songs, which were actually written for other singers, into her very own versions without destroying the originals. She is perhaps the most talented and versatile voice in the entire rock/metal scene. I have no idea what happened that magical night way back in 2013 but im so glad this show got recorded and i have seen it many many times and it never gets old. I dare u to find a better consert ever. Every single one of them brought their A game that magical night.

There are big events that change history of music. Like Qeen and Live Aid show. And this show is one of them. The little secret of great sound on this show is in the recording. They decided not to record final mix but they record everything separately. So they can do best sound for DVD.
