Ronnie is a great vocalist. Those Lords of Black albums kick ass!

Amazing singer and a very nice person. I met him many years ago at a small club in Berango (near Bilbao) where he sang with Jose Rubio's NOVA ERA. He blew our heads with his soaring and fiery voice and with his permanent smile on stage. Afterwards we had the the chance to have a small talk with him and he was very kind and humble. I really admire his singing, but what amazes me most is his permanent fight to give his best all the time and his music career all along from local bands in Chile and Spain to headline festivals in Europe with none other than the Man in Black. Great interview, Pete and great job Ronnie. Greetings from Spain 🤘❤️

Fantastic interview with a fantastic singer...never thought I'd get to see him live here in America but got a chance on the Michael Schenker tour. He's every bit as good live as he is on album.

Great interview. Black Sabbath albums with Tony Martin were great, very overlooked. Box sets with previously unreleased live material?

Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised with his latest covers album, especially the production and mix - incredibly heavy.

I hadn't heard of Romero before but just listened to the new album and it's great. I already knew and liked all the songs (except for 1 or 2 which gives me new stuff to check out), great song choices and performances. Now I'm the mood to listen to Eternal Idol, & Battle Rages On, haven't listened to those in a lo-oo-ong time.

Great interview. Ronnie seems like a cool dude. Is Rainbow on hiatus? You guys really didn't talk about them. I wish that Rainbow would record a new album with Ronnie on vocals.

The Battle Rages on was nice surprise since it's a really underrated gem from the end of a M2. And I was more than surprised of how good the Metal Daze and Four Horsemen turned out to be. Might actually be the favourites of mine here.

Mr. Romero.....KEEP ON doing what you do!!!!!!.....Rock music needs you and all the other new bands that you are in and work your talent with!!!!....LOVE Lords of Black and Sunstorm and the Ferrymen....you are a light in this genre that we need to keep lit.....radio doesn't play new hard rock and metal music.....which is sad because it would help sell cds and records and expose the music to a new generation.....instead radio plays the same songs from bands over and over and it sucks.....YOU ROCK RONNIE!!!!!!!

I never really understood the concept of a cover album. Especially when you are playing the songs exactly the same way as the original. Ronnie has a great voice, i'm just not entirely sure that it fits every song on these albums. I was pleasantly surprised by the Accept cover though. That's by far my favorite on the new record.
@stevemcnary79632 жыл бұрын
I enjoyed Ronnie's singing with Schenker more than I did Graham Bonnett & Gary Barden. Bonnett shouted instead of singing live & Barden's voice has been bad for years.

What are you talking about? No reason to be disrespectful

For an Audio -phile or audio lover... you kinda fail to spread the love for music. Just commenting about what you don't like.

A bit more than just O.K. actually. Quite versatile and has an instatly recognizable voice to begin with. Lets see how far he's able to go and maybe pass the judgement on him after the next ten years or so. I really think that he hasn't reached his full potential yet. The Rainbow gig opened a lot of doors for him and that was great. But as a lifelong Ritchie fan it made me a bit sad to watch him stumble through the songs. More than half of his magic has gone. And it's not just the technical abilities. I'd rather take Blackmore's Night nowadays. K

@@JIF882 Not disrespectful at all. Many would agree with me. I feel that he is the worst vocalist RAINBOW has ever had, but he is still very good. It's like when 'Ripper' Owens tried to fill the shoes of Rob Halford. Owens was very good, but certainly not in the same league as Halford.

@@vogesproskauer7057 Assinine comment. One's enthusiasm for better stereo equipment and better sound has nothing to do with "spreading the love for music", as you say! I was offering my opinion, whether you like it or not.

Never heard of him being considered anything more than a below average singer, 2 min in and I'm done.

@@vogesproskauer7057 You probably don't have an original comment or idea about music and just agree with everything said on this channel. That's "kinda" sad.
