Easy On Me Both Angelina Jordan and Adele are under the Republic Records / Universal Music umbrella, 12 hours after Adele released "Easy On Me," this video was dropped on the internet by AJ, and Adele has seen it. Adele wrote the song with its producer, Greg Kurstin, and it is about a broken marriage and a mother trying to explain to her son why it is happening. You have to ask yourself how a 15-year-old Angelina Jordan could do this song justice and give it the emotion it deserves? Here again, AJ takes on the impossible and makes it a classic as she always does. As usual, grandma Mery is close, and even appears in this video with AJ. Mery has been a major powerhouse behind AJ, and they would be lost without each other. One genius helping create another. Every time this girl opens her mouth and those ethereal sounds come rolling out, I lose my breath, and the tears appear. Great video, guys! Appreciated all the music knowhow, the fun and the love. Jason, you said it was 'crazy' how a special singer can transmit emotion through wires and radio waves into our hearts. There is one absolute requirement which has to be present for that to happen, the singer must be genuine in their feelings when they are singing the song. Angelina is very genuine and very special. Another clue of why we are so literally in love with her is that she is singing FOR US, not only to us. And beyond that, when I say 'we' I can actually break it down even further. She sings for EACH ONE OF US. We listen to her and immediately she draws us into her world and we go there willingly and our one-on-one connection with the love in Angelina's heart is so profound, one in our heart it will never leave. When did all of this start? For a lot of us when she was 7 years old! Hope you guys are enjoying the Holiday season. And she is as good singing live than in studio, so my suggestion for a possible next reaction will be her recent appearance in the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony a few weeks ago. That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. Vocal expert analyzer Andreas Grussl did a comparison video on both artists doing this song that was titled 'Is This Better Than Adele?'. He shows how Angelina's responses are so much warmer than Adele, which goes back to her roots as a 'Jazz' singer, for there is no way a non-jazz singer, even one as great as Adele' can match the emotion laden penetration Angelina brings to heartfelt ballads. Her one and only, true musical mentor was the greatest inventive, improvisational singer of all time, that being Billie Holiday. There's a reason why she has said that if not for Billie, there would be no Angelina as the singer she is. Angelina has mastered all the unique inflections of Billie, including 'breathy', 'whisper-like' releases, radical 'key' changes within sentences, and emotional output that was 'Pure Billie', as well as many other facets of Billie's singing. If you listen to Angelina's rehearsal in a sound booth of Billie's 'I'm A fool to Want You', you'll get a great taste of elements Billie brought in a individual song and which Angelina has incorporated in her singing to this day. I should add that Andreas shows how Angelina actually 'out belts' Adele in the power section of the song, even though experts say her lungs won't be fully developed until she reaches her mid 20's.

The piano player is Rob Christie. He is Republic Records studio director in LA. According to him this song was recorded the following day after Adele released it. Talk about a talent. Angelina has the rare ability to tell the story of the song like no other. She doesn’t just perform for your ears and eyes, she performs for your heart and soul. Her voice is so full and round. The notes, if visible, would be plump and three dimensional. You could see the texture on each one as she chooses how to sculpt each note with a magical larynx. Please ask about her process .
