Vocaloid acapella + VocalShifter (with & without comparison)

My new favorite thing is taking official vocaloid acapellas (extracted from project diva n such) importing them to vocalshifter and tuning then that way. a lot of the clips have engine noise n whatever but that's because ofc, i didn't tune it IN vocaloid lmao. It's hard to make it sound good.

it is most definitely not cheating, in music production, there's no point, and often a detriment to spend like 90% of your time fine tuning vocaloids, work smarter and not harder ❤

My main takeaway from this is being able to hear the syllables of each lyric clearly without it being crunchy or weird, especially with Disappearance of HM and Dramaturgy (I don't know the name of the song but I recognize it from the game. Is that what it's called?) Im all for the shifter, maybe just sliiiightly milder? For songs with a pop feel/lots of syllables it works the way it is, but for songs with longer, drawn out notes, and heavy vibrato, it kinda sounds like she's choking or smth idk but I do love it. It's a lot more colorful.

I can't believe that many people consider this tool as cheating, they literally have this tool and prefer to keep tuning with the same unrealistic flat notes. I thought it was impossible, not that people decided not to have these results. I don't hate traditional tuning, it has its charm and I like it, but this is just stupid.
