I can't believe how high quality this video is considering that it was made in 2008
@goishikaiganmademou5 жыл бұрын
March 28th 2016 was the date when KZbin wasted the sound quality of all subsequent HD uploads. HD uploads became AAC 192 kbit/s HiFi before that date, and 126 kbit/s LoFi after that date. Really old KZbin uploads sometimes have even better sound quality, up to Mp3 320 kbit/s sometimes. This sounds like one of those really old and even better? UPDATE 1: The above was true until August/September 2020, when most videos uploaded after 2015 suddenly got 192 kbit/s retroactively, apparently because KZbin had reprocessed a new AAC 192 kbit/s file from the stored originally uploaded soundtrack. UPDATE 2: Too good sound quality seems to piss off the music copyright owners? Video grabbers tell that since October 29th 2020 can no soundtracks above 160 kbit/s be detected, and my ears agree that the old 192 kbit/s seems to be gone hidden. No matter the age, all videos now have an AAC 128 kbit/s soundtrack that you can hear in all situations and an Ibopus Opus 160 kbit/s soundtrack you can hear in some situations. The "situation" that decides what you get to hear might depend on your device/browser/local internet infrastructure?

The original song is “Summer Dance” by Lee Junghyun. It was then remade by Cyndi Wang into “Honey” and then it was just translated into this Japanese ver if anyone is confused on the song’s origins. It’s also possible that Honey Honey by ABBA and YMCA by Village People inspired the creation of the song :)

Giereroid KZbin's copyright system is broken. If your video contains copyrighted footage (music, video ect) a bot will either take away the monetization, ban it in over 200 countries or just take it down entirely. Honey is a copyrighted song. Even though this is a cover, I've seen covers get taken down. But by some miracle this video somehow evaded the copyright system. And this makes us longtime youtube users happy.
