Hey, guys! I know I just posted a cover, but here's another one! Haha. Another jazzy song, this time in English, with a special arrangement done by / rockmanrulez89 . It's so nice!

I wish people would stop complaining about this "not being Rolling Girl." This is Ashe's version. He makes it the way he wants to. It's jazz, so grow up and be a little more open-minded. If you want the original version, go listen to the original version. It's pretty dang simple.

The version is nice but this song is about a girl being bullied or having problems and is running away from them so the adding jazz to it makes the songs seem upbeat when its not really an upbeat song.

Guys just because it doesnt have the same intensity as the original one, it doesnt mean it completely lost the sadness and the darkness of the song ._. Go and try listening to ashe's voice carefully, try internalizing it .-. You'll notice that there's this underlying sense of sadness hidden beneath his sensual voice .-.

This is actually really good. Sometimes the normal version is too full of energy for me and then I always come back here. This is still perfectly fitting but it's calmer. Hurts just as much though. You have a wonderful jazzy voice, I love that.

I like this one so much. Like listen- I know this is like 100 Internet years old, but I just keep coming back to it. It’s the kind of sadness where you feel like dying but it’s not a frantic sensation the way that it is when you’re a teenager. It’s melancholy and tired. It’s been through so much fighting and knows it’s never going to end. The original version feels like they’re actively dying and are fighting for their lives- this one is an acceptance of taht sadness, accepting that the fight truly never ends. It’s sad and comforting. Bittersweet. This is the one I relate to.

This arrange's genre is Bossa Nova, which is a Brazilian genre based on samba (another Brazilian genre) that started around the 50's and, as you can hear, is strongly influenced by jazz. It started amongst the middle class as a way of reinventing samba, but it got really popular and, as a result, ended up getting known around the whole country

This is definitely one of the best covers of Rolling Girl I've ever heard. I mean, I don't think you can really even describe it so simply as saying that it's a cover, because you took the song and completely made it your own in the most amazing way. One of the things I love about some of the stuff you put up, Ashe, is how different it can be. I adore Rolling Girl. One of my favorite things about it is its pure energy. I wasn't sure if I wanted a calm jazzy version. But...it is beautiful. I never would've imagined this song in this way, which is one of the many reasons I keep coming back for your stuff.

This is an interesting version of the song! I haven't heard of a jazz version and it's really good! I feel like the rock or band version gives the song a stronger, desperate feel while this version gives a sort of melancholy feel. Great job :)
