What a great plugin! Could you make a quick video to explain how you’d use COS pro to tune my speakers to my room? I saw you mentioning it in a previous video. Thanks a million. I’m learning so much!

Will do...however, just do it the exact same way as the old video, except you won't need a separate EQ...just conform the 50-band EQ and you're good to go. Save a preset for each set of speakers you tune.

I kind of understand the idea of EQing following a certain noise shape, but how do you decide which slope we should follow? Any documentation or it’s just from your own experience?

Watch the video: Universal Mixing part-2...chapter: "4 points of noise". When you study noise elements via spectrum analyzer you'll quickly see for yourself how most noise elements follow just a handful of noise ceilings/slopes...with primary block elbow-points prevalent throughout.

I Love these plugins and use them all the time!! I keeo hearing about people talking about phase when it comes to EQ. Do drastic EQ moves in Ceilings of sound affect the phase much? Thank you!!!

Meno, I like to use mix monolith before my hardware 500 series inserts and after the inserts to make sure I have decent gain staging into my 500 series rack. Can you make a video using analog hardware and any strategies you like to use.

Sure thing, I'll do that soon...my next video will be on the human ear and how there's actually a very narrow range of ceilings/slopes it prefers...making equalization even easier than most believe it to be when working via noise.

@ayaicware Great I am trying to Better understand the white, pink, and brown, are these the ceilings, and the slopes as being the rate at which they decrease and increase. Your way Mr Meno seems to take all of the edge out of the standard or individualized Eq. Thank You Mr Meno, I so want to learn how to use the COS Pro. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
