I’m glad you’ve come back to Faouzia. This song was a number one hit in about 28 countries. People in Indonesia and Malaysia particularly love it. It’s far from one of her best for me, but it’s fun.

Shame in her country Morocco she dont have the same recognization plus she always speak about her moroccan heritage and always show those influences in her music, comparing to some like David Ghetta and French Montana. Tik Tok helped many great females moroccans singers to get their flowers Faouzia with RIP, Nej' with Paro is also trending in Asia.

She has an amazing ability to mix genres and create masterpieces. You should check her stripped versions of You don't even know me, Tears of Goald, Bad Dreams, etc.. and her covers of Adel, John Myers, Gnarls Barkely, J Cole, etc... Her first professional music video that she makde when she was 17 called My Heart's Grave is also fantastic and unique-ish. Loved your reactions to her and would love to seen more in the near future.

Vocal coaches tend to listen to Faouzia's stripped versions as it easier to hear what she is doing. Hopefully she will include at least 1 stripped song per album from this point forward.
