Mr yazik. Liza hanim came out the same year as siti nurhaliza. She is indeed among our greatest singer. In fact siti and liza were under the same recording company. Its just that siti is more popular than her, maybe due to her versatility as siti can sing almost all types of genre. But liza is liza and siti is siti. Both are amazing. I myself prefer siti, but i also love liza hanim.

For Liza hanim u can try to find "Gelisah Mimpi", "Getaran cinta dijiwa" her debut in her teenage age. Liza hanim is one of the singer that has strong, solid vocal. U can check Ziana zain also, she start singing earlier, senior singer. The song "Puncak Kasih", " Kemelut Muara Kasih", etc also show her strong and high voice.

This was 20 years ago.. This was AJL. The same competition where was Ernie Zakri. Liza is legend same goes with Siti Nurhaliza. They were in the same batch in the industry when they came out. During this time Liza still bachelor and now she has 5 kids at the age of 40. And she is still amazing as before.

Liza Hanim (pronounced Leeza Ha-name) and Siti were birthed by the same TV station (RTM) in singing competition, scouted by the same composer (Adnan Abu Hassan) and signed by the same recording company Suria Record. Liza's first album came out around 1997 a year after Siti's and she was celebrated as Siti's closest competition by Malaysian at that time due to her similar sweet, powerful vocal as Siti's but Siti's stardom was just massive at that time knocking down every newcomers in that era. Both were frequents of Juara Lagu/AJL in their primetime and then Liza married her also a celebrity husband and took a break to focus on family. She was definitely one of Malaysia's best vocalists we ever had.

Liza Hanim is a great singer but she often being overshadowed by Siti (they were from same recording company at the time). But Liza is well known for her Live performance. This performance was the reason why Best vocal award was being introduced in Juara Lagu or AJL. She didn't win anything that night but she was the talked of the country. Every newspaper was praising her performance that night and said she should win an Award. She might not won anything but she overshadowed every singer that competed that night (including Siti). A year later in 2002, The Best Vocal Award was introduced for the first time and she was competing again in AJL with a new song and she won that award, defeating Siti, Ziana and others.

Mr Yazik...the eee sound you were referring tu is originated from the letter 'i'. Like in such example she was singing the word 'ini'. Where the sound is comparable to a word in english ending with the letter 'y' such as 'bunny' or 'truely'

both liza and siti came out in the entertainment scene around the same time (they are around the same age). both are well known, but siti was way more popular and reached regional stardom (she was considered to have the whole package while liza didn't). i was a big fan of liza and it was sad to see her being overshadowed by siti most of the time.
