Henlo, my lovely Famboos~! 🐼 I’m excited to present to you our cover of Choujin Sentai Jetman opening song! I know there are a lot of you who are waiting for this so I’m happy that we finally have both the ending song, Kokoro wa Tamago (こころはタマゴ) and the opening song. Choujin Sentai Jetman is one the most beloved super sentai series by 90’s kids or Batang 90’s as we call it here in the Philippines. I love the story of this show and I’d like to rewatch it again sometime because I don’t think I’ve completed this one although I already know how it ended. 😅 But I’d like to watch the other episodes again and the other ones that I think I haven’t watched yet. I also heard something interesting~. Some people are saying that Choujin Sentai Jetman “saved” the super sentai franchise. Have you heard about that story as well? I’m not sure if it’s a fact so I’d like to ask you guys, how true is that story? 🤔

The story goes that after Fiveman turned in poor ratings, the plan was to end Super Sentai. So the people working on Jetman decided to go in a different direction and incorporate a lot of soap opera drama to draw in new viewers. Which was why there was that love triangle between Ryu, Gai, and Kaori. It worked and Jetman became the most popular Sentai of the time, and that's why people say it saved the franchise. And thank you for this new cover! Jetman's OP is one of my Super Sentai favourites and you did an amazing job on it! Can't wait to see what you do next!

Ito lang yung sentai na sinubaybayan ko talaga. Pag thursday ata ito ng gabi sa abc5 (tv5) tapos pag pin-lay na yung intro nagsasayawan na kaming magpipinsan sabay upo sa sahig at tutok sa tv habang pinapanood ang bawat storya nila. Sobrang saya ko dahil napanood ko yung ending, sobrang hirap makanood ng tv kapag pinanganak ka ng 90s especially bata ka. Pero nakakalungkot din dahil nakakagulat yung ending pero all in all, Jetman is my favorite "ranger" series and a great reminder of my somehow happy childhood.
