More details are needed. How often do the shuttles run? How long do they take? Where do you board the bus? What time before the departure can you be on the bus? Are they air conditioned whilst waiting for departure?

Distance is 2 km from clock tower to VOCO. By walk it takes 25-30 minutes according to Google maps.

Currently I‘m staying in Makkah voco hotel, no doubt hotel is good , beautiful clean.. BUT I will not recommend if you have elderly parents wheelchair with you.. pathetic bus system going on, firstly when I came to voco the bus was taking us directly to Haram, now there is a lay over that means you need to get out at a bus stop and take another bus, going and coming back both sides. When coming back to hotel we are so tired and changing bus is a big hassle when you have wheelchair n all. And one day there was no bus in the night at 1:30 am ppl were really tired and frustrated. As I speak arabic I called the reception and made a complain that this is really not acceptable that we have to wait for the bus, the bus system and the government having some issues and this is the cause they are not taking hajis directly to Haram.The other thing is wifi is disconnecting all the time.

Lockers and hair dryers not available in every room. Buses from hotel are on tome and available but return journey is cumbersome. You have to change buses at one point. Walk to Haram is 1700 meters which for elderly people in hot weather is a little tiring.

Salaam alaikum WRWB, I learned that the shuttle buses no longer stop directly in the basement of the clock tower? It stops @ Kudai parking 🅿️ first and then you take another shuttle to Haram. That would be difficult with small kids. When did this change? Does anyone have any information?
