I like this format! I think having it where you’re troubleshooting is useful. Bc honestly it feel like a lot of your videos you just know what to do and never have issues (even though you say you do). So seeing you run into the same issues is encouraging. Sometimes not getting it perfectly or “as easy” as you do in wan throughs can be discouraging. This format made it feel a lot more attainable

haha great video :) i just did this box today and got the shells dying too.. i switched to meterpreter_reverse_tcp ( i believe) and that worked fine :) (staged vs non staged)

If you want to have a really good time, just screen your VPN connection so you can leave it active all the time and just forget about it. Great with the WSL container using Kex to use with THM or HTB

This was definitely a frustrating room. Same issues with dying sessions and seemingly non-responsive meterpreter/PS issues. I had to copy the root flag for this reason lol

meterpreter dying all the time is basically why I'll try any other exploit besides metasploit one, super frustrating. Trying to build my own implant to use for persistent shells with cool features like uploading and the like. Also pro tip when a system level shell keeps dying like that you can use a prepend migrate to migrate it to a more stable process.
