I could be wrong but maybe it would good to have the vault timer for specifically raid vaults stop after you finish the last wave so you have time to get your rewards especially with the entrance to the rewards chamber taking time to open

i was thinking this same thing, so after it is complete the timer would stop until you got all the spawned rewards OR once you leave the room

I agree. I can totally see myself completing the raid but having no time to loot. That would be a huge disappointment.

I think there should definitely be whitelist for breakable blocks to include walls/fences. Makes navigation a chore and you can see iskall getting stuck on them throughout.

I think it'd be more interesting to just remove the chests completely and have only targeted rewards in the raid vaults if the whole idea is to target loot in them. Common rewards instead of being 8-10 ornates, make it 2-4 scrappy+ gear pieces, or instead of 8 living chests, you instead get 1-3 knowledge shards. I think this would create more player agency in a vault that may be a bit more rare to go into and still reward you in a more unique way than other vaults

yeah I 1000 percent agree that the chests needs to be a lot more, almost dying in a vault a couple times spending 20 minutes in a raid room doesn't seem worth it to me for like 16 ornates 8 living and 8 wooden and 2 shields 1 legendary sword and 2 resource packs

I think the loot you choose from gets increasingly rare, the more waves you complete, but I think it would be nice for amount of chests to increase too.

I think that the loot shouldn't be spread out but all together like paint buckets because you know what rewards you are going to get so make sure the player gets all that loot.

I'd have to play with this mechanic to be sure since this video doesn't show that much, but I feel like the pillagers aren't fun to combat. When a wave starts it's quite dynamic with all the vindicators, healers, evokers, vexes, ravagers, but once these are dead the pace drops almost to a halt when all that's left are the pillagers. Having to go pick on each one individually looked fairly dull in comparison: you either did slight dodges while waiting for javelin to recharge, or waited for dash to recharge to jump to the next pillager. Adding to that, the room looks really frustrating to navigate, stairs are few and far apart, there are walls and other things in the way absolutely everywhere to get stuck on, probably will be even more frustrating to play than it already was to watch. Felt like 70% of the raid was chasing down the last few pillagers, and to be honest for me it acted like a real turndown. Especially for the kind of rewards this offered. Sure there might be some rare items you typically don't get in normal vaults, but for the difficulty and frankly not enticing pacing, I'm not sure I would want to run one outside of the change of pace it offers. You said these vaults aren't supposed to compete with loot vaults or else they'd become the meta, and I agree to a point, but the issue is that if they don't really have some kind of edge or advantage compared to normal vaults, then they also become part of the meta in the sense that it's never really worth running. I agree the target loot is great, but I feel like you can't just have normal chests in such low quantities in there, as you'd be able to get all the same chests (and even way more) in a just as targeted manner running down a normal vault and only looting specific POIs, without even using the hunter skills or treasure goggles, and it'd significantly easier too since you could build/dig and leave the mobs behind. I'd say to have some quantity of chests by default, and have all the rewards be things that are kinda special. For instance, what if instead of painstakingly building the equivalent of one normal vault room, you built the completion crate directly ? That'd mean you are offered stuff from the completion crate loot table instead of regular chests. The chests could still come as a bonus but they shouldn't be the focus. Another advantage of building the completion crate is that you benefit from that even if you complete the raid with only a few seconds remaining, whereas the chests take a significant time to find and loot (especially given how much decoration the vault room has). The chests could act as extra rewards for managing to complete with time to spare. At least to me, it'd feel much more worth it to be getting reward options you don't see all the time in a normal vault. I really like the bell adding the highlight effect, but how the hell is a player supposed to find that ? Imagining chasing the last couple pillagers down without it feels like it'd be really awful. Also I'd argue the bells should be more easily accessible, I don't know if you can reach them from the ground level but if not, they should. Maybe could have more bells as well. The vault opening animation is awesome! Fitting reward for completing a raid. Although I gotta say the stairs down looked annoying to use and immediately getting stuck on them a few times after the door opened felt a bit anti-climactic haha. The potion not recharging is interesting, although it feels like the kind of thing new players wouldn't know and die to on their first few runs until they realized it was a thing. I wonder if it could be part of the modifiers added each wave instead ? so initially you can use it but as you progress you could occasionally reduce the potion recharge rate instead of making the mobs harder. Speaking of which, the options above the pillars need icons (I believe the braziers have some so maybe it's planned idk), or maybe pause the timer while picking.

Man the new raid/challenge room are greeeeat(tho one request will it be possible to that u can use hunter to find the chest I completed the room but was having hard time finding all and since the room is generated after ur done with the challenge anyway so there shouldn't be any down side to it)

I don't think raid vaults need the time constraint, it's limiting factor is the amount of waves anyway, there really isn't a reason for it to be timed...

Maybe each wave could be timed, but you should be allowed to take your time getting all the chests that you've earned at the end and not feel rushed. Doing this change would also allow for a new "infinite" version of raid vaults, where after you beat 3 waves, you can stop and cash in all the rewards that you got so far at any time, or keep going and risk losing all rewards

Vault Hunters is going down man...we saw this raid vaults...not worth it at all.. A lot of work put but VH seems worse now than the begining of season...The game is not balanced anymore....cake vaults sooo OP, companion party sooo OP. Some skills way OP...bugs not beeing fixe, SMP members not listened anymore and the list continues...The mushroom assasins still can't see their health...

IMO there is to much in the game. It didn’t need ten more things added to it. It needed to be finished and what was in it balanced properly. There’s to much going on at once and most of it is reliant on RNG. May be good for streamers but bad for casual players.
