The best part is that that ONE take also must have convinced James Cameron, too. It's kind of amazing to know that one person, the composer (James Horner) is why it ever saw the light of day. He trusted himself to fight for it and it became THE song for like...2 years. I remember that song was playing everywhere, multiple times a day, for at least a year.

Perfect singer and performer, and yet a woman full of class, with smile and a healthy distance towards herself and her astonishing achievements. You got it despite her narration in which she omitted some difficult moments in her life and her family troubling her up to this day. True legend living among us. I wish her all the best.🤩
