NYC was great in the 80's and 90's. There was a grittiness and rawness to the city.

I would suggest that the regular smog of dope smoke and stink with the piles of bagged garbage along with the homelessness is awfully gritty and raw

Thank you Vogue for this interesting easy going dialogue, it felt like we were listening in on two creative friends speak about their lives and then reflecting on art and fashion today and historically how it started to evolve.
