I think he was Polish but he would tell stories of his country but we were like 7-8 so i don’t remember that much but all the neighborhood kids ages between 5-10yrs old and we would sit on the floor and listen to the stories... he didn’t spoke English well and i didn’t that much since i only practice the language a year in 1st grade but i felt a connection to the old man and he knew i didn’t know my grandparents so every now and then he would give me candy or granola bars as well as his grandson

This was very good. A lot of times interactions between actors can become really cringy and really quickly, but this wasn't at any moment, despite the conversation hitting some heavy topics at times.
