I had a 1963 Continental convertible. You bring a smile to my face hearing about your new relays and switches after working with the old system. The top works so fast now. The bounce back windows gave me headaches too. You are a dream come true.

Long message. Sorry, but I could use your advice. Your videos are always fun to watch and I learn things. Dude this is just so cool. I took my car out on the interstate for the first time a few weeks ago. I have some hoses I totally don't know where they go on my 1963 Lincoln. I believe it makes my car run hard. I want to close off some of the vacuum hose stuff. I want to know the simplest way to do that without breaking the bank and without losing my brakes which seem to be powered by the vacuum system. What size tires do you use? If you don't mind tell me what type of oil and gas you prefer to use for the 430 engine? My engine and transmission were rebuilt a few years back. In the back-top of the 430 engine, toward the dash, there is an outlet. It has a diamond-shaped emblem or cover. Mine is closed off by a former mechanic. I believe it should be connected to a metal hose and PCV valve that runs to the side and front of the carburetor. Does it connect to the front of the carburetor or the intake? I still have the metal piece or metal hose. As a result of it not being connected, I am getting exhausted coming out of the oil filler pipe. Also, can this make the engine run hard? My wish list: How to close off the vacuum system and keep the brakes working. I would like to see you take the dash down and replace the vacuum hoses on the inside of the car. You already have a great video on the engine bay ones. I would like to see you replace the current circuit breakers. I would like to see you replace to points or add electronic timing. How to get my AC working without the current vacuum switch it came with?

Great work ! Have you ever installed seat warmers and made/ purchased custom switches / toggles that match the Lincoln style ?
@NathanWilsonDrivingDreams4 жыл бұрын
I have done seat warmers. I just used the little round switches that came with the kit and hid them. Technically you need perforated leather.

Question, how do you remove front fender peak molding from a lincoln continental 64?
@NathanWilsonDrivingDreams4 жыл бұрын
There are three nuts and then it just pops off, held on my clips. Reach way up into the seam from the wheel well and run your fingers along until you feel the nuts. Use a 3/8 socket and extension.
