great video. wanted to point out that if this was from a fresh install of Pixel as you stated at the the opening, the commands that you typo'd 4 times, to download and install the Google Assistants Libs, should not be run with '-upgrade-' if they are it will return an invalid argument because there is nothing to upgrade. simply taking out '-upgrade' will give you success in installing them tho. Hey you know what, the old installation I did for Raspberry Pi 2 works with Zero W. I used a USB headset with mic to test it out and it was flawless. The only problem I think is that there is no SDK for voice activated GA for Zero W.

As long as your Linux based computer is running a form of Debian (such as Ubuntu, Raspbian pixel, Debian, or Mint) it should be the same process. If you have something like a Redhat or Fedora system then you will have to set it up differently. (altho you might have a driver issue or two on the way) Best of luck!

To run anything on boot up when using a linux machine, just add the commands (One per line) to the file "/etc/rc.local" and they will run on boot Be aware that its usually best practise to finish each command with " &" And this means if the command fails, it won't stop the machine from booting the rest of it

I followed your directions and it worked! the only thing is that I had problems with the commands in your website because of some missing double hyphens '--' in some of the commands that I ended up copying from the video. Hello everybody! I Went thrue the guide and everything seem right, untill I put the last line to start the Google assistent :I got error about audio input something about not finding it..
