i've no idea who is the original 'screen recorder' or 'uploader'.
anyway, thanks to the person who did this, this is the 'voice balanced' version i've 'listened' and study for a long time.
i just notice that there is no 'balanced' voice version on youtube which is kind of annoyed for me. the iphone(i guess what john use) is 'compressing' or 'balancing' in a wierd way when the big guitar sound goes away with tiny weak human voice. i've no idea why or what is going on about that. so i just 'twist' (and of course flip the left right wrong) it in a 'correct' way for myself way back for study.
i wanna all of you guys get the point of John's idea. the whole concept of john's theory for guitar or blues is awesome. it's great! not just focus on his playing, digest the idea of his thought.
again, thanks to the guy who screen record and upload this video. this video (lesson) means a lot to me.
if any copyright or anything bother you or what, just tell me.
i'll just delete it.

26:10 at this point John forgets he was just using his thumb wrapped over the neck to play the root of the 4 and 5 chord (on the A string) while playing lead lines not realizing not everyone has his giant thumbs😅

Crazy I been doing this all along and I used to struggle with guitar but then one day it all just made sense literally can’t explain it and now I can play whatever I want and I look at the whole fretboard and it is so clear and I sound like Jerry Garcia more than jimi I am not a flashy guitar player slow simple but intense and noticed how people from strangers to friends to my wife started to looking at me differently becasue they feel my playing more so than before but they do not know that his just happened lol anyways I took me wow I started at 14 now I just turned 41 lol and this just happened last week lol yaaaa crazy never stop making mistakes and trying becasue when it does come together for you all that subconscious stuff comes up and it shows itself more clear. Cheers

How long have you been practicing this before you got it?

@@Humiliated1234 really long time making mistakes, noodling around to the point I could fool myself and others into me playing ok but now it flows so much and everything sort of became more clear

Wow how did you balance the guitar and the voice even when they’re there at the same time?

split the audio from the video, split the stem, there are many 'AI' splitter online out there, then add a compressor to both the audio, 'limits' the master output just in case the 'red' thing appears, then mix together, done.... you can even remove the 'reverb' or fine tune the sound, but i think it's good enough to learn something from John.

Aren’t you then just mixing minor and Major pentatonic?
@karmasubba3863

Yea but hes talking about how one can better the pentatonic playing. Every guitarist can pretty much learn ( exercise ) how to play all the different modes but it takes a lot more depth and musicality to be able to mix the theory and play melodies and music. You can have an intermediate player play the pentatonic and have Vai play the pentatonic, but you cant accuse Vai of playing the same thing as the intermediate player right? Everyone knows the alphabet, but not everyone can write a beautiful poem. Likewise, all guitar players knows the pentatonic scale, but not everyone can play music on it. And he’s emphasising on the chord changes whilst playing the pentatonic scale which a ridiculous amount of guitar player do as in be fluent in playing the melodic lines in the pentatonic but be completely oblivious about the chords changes going on underneath except for the fact that what key they are playing in. Playing the pentatonic scale is comes in different levels, and if you’re a guitar player, you know it better than most.

You can just play the second position minor pentatonic scale in the same ‘box’ as the first position pentatonic to switch to major. You can really do this for any of the chords in your progression (like if the progression is Am, Cmaj, Emin as an example) you can just play the positions all in the same four fret area). Learning ‘scales’ is kind of boring, but if you know all the positions it really does come in handy for soloing over chord changes.

I just copied cat the thousands of small little chunks of licks from all players from 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and any riffs or Jeff Beck like cool ways own hooks as many as I could and all awarded songs_ they'd just come back in my later improvised solos recordings. That's it.
