In this video I have Explained how to make your own AC dimmer for Fan speed control or Light Bulb dimming using esp8266 NodeMcu , Triac and some other basic components.
The video explains how to control your fan speed by your voice or by a slider in the Blynk app.
I have also explained in detail about the working principle of Zero Voltage Cross using leading edge phase dimming method.

@@ArunKumar-ue3jn for me it was working fine. You can try alternatively, make a function for dimming, and then call the function every second. And remove the dimming part of code from the loop function.

Sorry for late reply because i was busy somewhere else. the connect and disconnect problem is because blynk cloud resets the connection if too much data is sent to it. please make one timer function to send the data in 5 seconds interval.

Do you tell me Is it possible to control AC FAN dimmer (with zero cross detection) both By two Physical push BUtton (speed increasing and decreasing) manually and also By Blynk app slider button for controlling speed through wifi. I ask the question because facing very difficulties to write the code for integrating push button function with only wifi controlled code (By blunk app slider button) . do you know is it possible or not ?

How to control fan speed using nodemcu & Ir remote.....? I have done this with blynk aap but when trying to do with Ir remote it is not working I think due to interrupt used for zero crossing nodemcu not executing Ir sensor input... Any idea how to do it ??

Yes why not, in NodeMCU we have 17 gpio pins, So we can add this number of functions with NodeMCU, In short yes, we can add 4 channels relay with same project

@@thetechrumble6596 the humming noice is a problem with leading edge dimming circuits. if we want more smooth operation we should opt for Trailing edge dimming circuits. i will make one video soon

this will slow the response of slider, because the function is called every 500 ms but i assume that your rebooting problem will get solved
