I personally don't give 2 sh.ts what anyone thinks about these ladies. It's an absolute new reemergence of metal, a new refresh of metal which has been needed. They're religious choice has no effect on their love of music, no effect on me. More respect, and more appreciation for me for their struggle. I love them and I need to see them live.

I recently discovered this band thanks to comments in some The Warning videos. For me, VoB embodies the rebellious spirit of rock. Reading about them, I found a quote from Marsya, the vocalist, saying "I found myself in metal music". I consider myself a fan now, they are as legit as The Warning, and they need even more support. I'm a Japanese who likes Maximum the Hormone. When I read the lyrics of this song, I was shocked to hear the sound. If rock is the frustrating music of young people, I feel that no band in the world is as urgent as they are. And I felt that rock could release something for the first time in a while. Please react to their other song. I would like to hear your insight about them. Yes they are quite young. They formed this band because of their counseling teacher when they were in junior highschool wanting to channel their youthful spirit into something productive. This band was formed because the caring their teacher showed to them beyond judgment just seeing them as troubled kid. This is an excellent display of good mentoring from their teacher. The teacher can play all type of instruments and all of them got to know the basic from their junior highschool teachers. They are all around 21 y.o. really so young.

Indonesia is a country with a very thick culture. we have been able to enjoy the beatles since the 60s..deeppurple ..led zeppelin..and others.. and in the mid 80's I myself have been listening to trashmetal.. so it's not surprising that our musicians can master the skills and techniques because there have been so many music schools and guitar lessons for a long time.

VOB band comes from a small town named Garut in West Java where many people (not all) still not really accepted hijaber girls perform metal music. therefore they got many hattred.

The lyrics are a lot better than say Motley Crue! Enjoyed the lyrics a lot and a fair amount of the music. Really cool bass part and like you said, for their ages, amazing. It's almost like this is stage one of just asking for a seat at the table whereas Clt Drp who I can't stop listening to are a few stages later demanding the same seat at the table. It's the icing on the cake with rock and metal when you get decent and meaningful lyrics on the top. It'd be cool to see their other song too and they're only going to get better.

In some of their interviews, they said the song was written, when they were 14-15 years old. At that time, they talked to their band mentor who is also their school teacher about their anxiety about the bullying they experienced when they were just learning metal music. Then their mentor/teacher said, "Hey, you guys have God.. so try asking permission and begging your God.". And then they created this song at a young age. Now They are 21 y.o

Yes, it's official. VoB will perform in Wacken Open Air 2022. They are between the age of 20~21. They call their music style as Hip Metal Funky. God, Allow Me (Please) To Play Music is their second single, the first single is School Revolution mostly sung in Bahasa Indonesia mixed with a few English words. And lastly, thank you for the reaction. I really enjoyed it.

Hi, thanks for the reaction video and support for these girls. They are talented, indeed. Based on one of their interview back home in Indonesia, Marsya told the story on how this song was came about. It was at the end of their discussion with their mentor. The discussion was on their dilemma facing between their love of heavy metal music and people perception on hijab wearing girls playing music. At the end of the discussion their mentor stated 'Why don't you ask God yourself on that?'. Hence the song! Beautifully written. Btw, Marsya and Widi are 21 and Siti is 20 years old.

Baceprot it means " Noisy " because they were make noise in the Class when they were in Junior High School Got punishment from they teacher, but this teacher called Abah introduce them to Music and Teach them how to play all instruments from Zero till now
