PMS stands for Perempuan Merdeka Seutuhnya [ women who are completely independent ] The lyrics contain a protest against discriminatory and judgmental attitudes which are often directed at women who have mindsets, perspectives, attitudes and desires or dreams that are different from the general norm in the mainstream. VOB made their new song a celebration for women who have succeeded in breaking down this stereotype and represent the voices of women from various regions that are still heavily influenced by social norms wrapped in patriarchal values 🖤

That awareness actually becomes our collective homework. How to instill a clear mindset to respect and place the relationship between men and women in a noble position. In fact, almost all VOB songs carry strong messages which give us an idea to think together about a better social order and fair social relations.

Well, I think that's my favourite one from them so far! Their vocals have really improved, the harmonies were a nice touch. The instrumentals have always been fab from them (even though it's not generally my thing). Absolutely love this band, powerhouses indeed 😁
