That person who said she support's Eren all the way... yeeeshh. Thank goodness for Trina's response! Don't get be wrong, I'm a fan of Eren, think he's a great character and relate to some of his character flaws but like what the other VAs said, it gets very hard to side with him towards the end. Which tbh, is what I love about AOT, it's how messy everyone is! But yeah, it's one thing to understand a character motivation, and another to support it.

I feel like a lot of people are forgetting that Eren literally didn’t have much of a choice, nor alternative options. I was still on his side til the very end. He became an anti-villain in every aspect. When he kissed Historia’s hand and saw what transpired, he essentially had to go with the script, despite how mortified he was. Despite the necessary atrocities that were made, Eren still stuck to his character by fighting for freedom for himself and those he truly cared about. Sometimes, people need to become a necessary evil. That’s one of the elements that makes his character all the more fantastic and compelling.

Lmfao. There are more people who are like Eren then you might think. That's the unsettling truth. It goes to show how much of a great writer the mangaka is because we're having all this debate about it.

@@galaxy_kitten95 Nah, he did have a choice, just that he didn't like his options. I mean its fair, he's fighting for his freedom and for his friend to live but to doom billions of people (children and such) just cause of it? No thanks. Don't get me wrong, I understand his motivations, relate to them even, but doesn't mean I support it. The concept of 'necessary atrocities' or 'necessary evil" is a perspective that contradicts the central message conveyed in the end credits-the revelation of the insignificance of these 'necessary evils' in the grand scheme. The conclusion of the show serves as a poignant reminder that the cycle of war and hatred persists, highlighting the cautionary tale the series seeks to impart. To emerge from 'Attack on Titan' with the belief that these 'necessary atrocities' are justified is to overlook the show's underlying warning. The narrative encourages viewers to reflect on the futile nature of such actions and their ultimate inability to break the perpetual cycle of conflict and animosity. Embracing the idea of 'necessary evils' misses the nuance and complexity of the show's message.

@@galaxy_kitten95well again it’s like the original comment said. It’s one thing to understand their choice but it’s another to support it

I’ve met Trina and Bryce more than once and I can safely say they are the most sincere people I’ve ever met, especially Bryce. An absolute sweet bean! But now I really would love to see David at some point.

I like Eren Yager is a flawed character and not a goody toe shoes who does everything right and good and acts selfishly some times.

He sounds like he could play Richard Horvitz, I didn’t know his voice had such a natural tenor

Glad the Strike is over! Hopefully the next SacAnime and Beyond, maybe the Japanese actors can attend. It’s definitely not easy to accommodate. Especially since the show is looking to expand and grow

I will never watch AOT again without thinking Erin is pissed off at a poodle eating his bag of chips.
