@@fukpoeslaw3613 Il me semble que les Français fassent quasiment la même chose. Quant á eux, ils tentent d'assimiler complètement toutes les personnages historiques d'origine polonaise. Marie Skłodowska-Curie n'appela-t-elle pas l'élément qu'elle avait découvert Polonium? Connaissez-vous une seule pièce de Frédéric Chopin qui provient de la tradition musicale française, comme les menuets et les bourrées? Est-ce que les Français ne revendiquent pas Roman Polański, qui quitta la France á l'âge de trois ans? En Pologne, on ne parle pas de Kostrowicki, mais d'Apolinaire. Il me paraît aussi que Józef Konrad Korzeniowski (car telle était son nom de naissance) n'était britannique que de nécessité et au fond il resta polonais (ce qui peut être confirmé par exemple par l'inclusion de quelques personnages de l'Europe de l'Est dans ses ouvrages).

Uw opmerking stoort me enigszins. Talen moeten toch niet beoordeeld worden op de (vermeende) eenvoudigheid van hun orthografie of fonologie? Japans, bijvoorbeeld, zou falen: het wordt duidelijk geschreven, maar verbergt een zeer moeilijke uitspraak met tonen, nasalen en weinig vocale markers.

@@ABAlphaBeta Japans dient inderdaad afgeschreven te worden; in 't algemeen dienen talen beoordeeld te worden naar hun gelijkenis met Nederlands; eenvoud is ook een pré, geschreven Afrikaans is prachtig, nobelprijs voor literatureluur waardig.
