Any family would’ve been lucky to have anyone of you in their homes . Each of you express yourself with such clarity and depth. I’m waiting for the required training to start and finished all of my paper work . My wish is that my foster kids will get as much from me as I know ill get from them . Thanks for sharing!

This was done a decade ago. This was my story 40 years ago. And, yet the stories haven't changed. Nothing has changed!!! Why has nothing changed?! With all the money going into the system, WHY HAS NOTHING CHANGED!!!??? I would love to catch up with these kids today and see how they're doing.

So true! So many people are in the darkness about how hard it is to grow up in care.

As an adoptee looking to give back to my community, I appreciate the insight this video provides. I noticed similar experiences, too.

I feel this . I after 12 homes I stopped bothering to remember peoples names cause I knew I'd know for a few months and then never see them again. I still to this day dont bother knowing peoples names.

Thank you for your stories. My husband and myself are in the process of homestudying and we hope to adopt our children. I can't wait…especially when i meet people like you guys. :) Best wishes for you all…you deserve it.

Good Luck! And in regards to the adoption, you damn sure better know who you are adopting. Adoption isn't a joke. When that child gets older, then lets talk. You don't know who GEMS you are getting. If you don't watch it, you and your husband would be living in hell with that child!!! Again, Good Luck...until then.

Placement agencies could reunite kids with their families if the parent or parents would get their shit together or get away from an abusive so called "partner."

Never understood how a mother/father could allow their children to be taken away from them. I don't get it. Foster homes are horrible.

Be Quite! You got to follow people's home rules and then you won't get kicked out. I am sorry that your family didn't help you, but look at the foster parents, they opened up their homes for you all to live. Stop thinking that someone owe you all something. Foster children needs to stop treating foster parents bad because of what their parents failed to do. Shame on you. Smile, shut-up, listen and behave; until you get what you need then you can move on.

Carmen D You sound foolish. Don't blame the foster parents because of their weak bio parents not taking care of their responsibility. Most of the foster children mental health is already mess up because of their bio-parents. Including you. I promised you that the child that you are holding is being paid by my tax dollars including the foster's parents tax dollars. Get lost and take care of your responsibility, I am sick of providing funds for all of your children.

eb4572 well an ignorant person like yourself obviously couldn't understand this video is not blaming foster parents. So you sound ignorant. Its speaking of experience so what's your point?
