So I understand the basics now I think !. One question what is priority if you have no killing machine procs or rime procs ?. I’ve just been spending runic power on frost strike until another proc turns up.

@@Baggiolyful if you aren’t in a breath window and aren’t in a pillar window you just want to ideally balance between RP and runes try to not over cap either, aka have 3 runes generating and not over capped on RP :)

what is the timing for death of decay? before pillar & mark or right after those skills? does it necessary to use it on single target fight? there is 5% haste

@@benlai9452 I like to put it down to start pulls in aoe as you get the effects for the entire duration you stand in it and 4 seconds once it’s done or you leave it, so I kinda just try to put them down as much as possible timing I have found isn’t crazy important more min maxy then in terms of single target the 5% haste is solid but not gonna be the end all be all if you forget :)

Its absolutely necessary on ST as well. The damage it does makes your reapers mark stack faster and get to exterminate faster.

Great video, learning a lot! I am curious what your secondary stats are at and what the ideal spot for each is? I have sacrificed a ton of haste for extra crit and mastery and it feels kinda clunky how slow procs come now

@@AndrewSpruck so funnily enough you want very small haste and almost 0 vers I think currently I am sitting at about 30% crit 53 ish % mastery 5% haste and 1% vers these could be slightly off as it’s from memory and I am not home to check my game sorry :) but it’s pretty close I believe

Mentioned it in the discord but just in case anyone else is curious Plater, Character Weakauras and General Dungon Weakauras are from Noawh's UI package you can get from subbing to him on twitch (covers all characters) Details is default and Omni CD is pretty much default just a few changes that I liked TruffiCD is the scrolling bar that tracks my clicks in the bottom right My Weakaura that tracks breath uptime is one I found on Wago.io

pretty sure its NaowhUI :) - if you sub to him, you get it :) - but its customized, normally not that many party CDs how up Interrupts have adiffrent position and so on, but 90% of it is naowh ui i guess

It is called Omni CD and I really like it cause it can track party Cooldowns and it is definetly helpful in groups to see if you have to kick something cause no one else's is up stuff like that

@ ideally in a perfect world you will never need to obliterate without a proc in that window but if you somehow find yourself with no runic power to frost strike and no rime proc you could theoretically obliterate but if that were the case it would probably be better to howling blast since it would cost 1 rune vs 2 and give you a proc TLDR : try your best not to obliterate without a proc in your window :)

this is bananas- im doing the exact rotation with same talents and my dmg is like 1.5 mill-2mill a pull not 5-6mill lolololl im 623 ilvl so is there that much diff in dmg scaling with like 7 ilvl points?

The suggested opener is first breath and then RM+pillar. What makes you do the opposite?

So for breath you ideally don’t want to press it till you have 60 rp+ to help keep the window alive longer and allow the freedom to spend more procs, in terms of RM + pillar of frost when I was learning the class it’s what I was taught and I wasn’t aware of the more efficient way of doing it until after uploading this today due to some testing. So ideally it would be the most beneficial to Remorseless winter -> Pillar -> trinket -> Reapers Mark -> Killing machine (from using reapers Mark) proc to get Runic Power then breath because at that point you should be at or above 60 ideally However my testing only showed about 200-300k difference in damage so yes it is more beneficial for damage and I will be actively changing it from now on but overall it doesn’t change the rotation and goals of your windows :)

The other reason for this was I was looking over logs between the DK's doing the highest content at the time of me learning, I will run some tests look at the WoWhead guide and make a video on which way is the most optimal way to play the build (in my opinion of course) ty for the comment I appreciate it :)

Brother good video there. One thing, im curious, isnt it beneficial if u press ur pillar in a good line into the pack, so u benefit from full the mastery buff (given by ur whelpling). Should be a %point per target hit. Could be a good point to improve it even furthermore 👌🏻 very good gameplay and better explaining during that. Appreciate the video!

One thing I could not figure out is why I’m doing way less damage than before 11.0.5, even though everyone keep saying “oh it’s a small nerf it doesnt change things”. No my overalls dropped at least 10-15% compared to before patch.

@ not really. Only changes were ilvl upgrades. But I do think I’m having slightly higher lag/latency in dungeons since patch. It’s like an invisible lag that doesn’t show on the in-game latency display. It’s like there’s a slight maybe 1/3 of a second delay between my keystroke and the spell being casted. Super weird and no one is talking about this.

All the guides suggest taking Soul Reaper for the talent tree. Been checking a lot of Warcraft logs and people don’t take them. Can you explain why the higher keys don’t take this talent? Can’t find any information on this?

@@itsoshi5408 for me it’s a bit of personal preference I personally feel it does not provide enough value considering the damage it does feels pretty negligible throughout a key for the price of 1 rune
