The musicality of the Southern Baptist preacher is something to behold. As a southern Black woman, it's almost a lost art.

It still informs how some black politicians speak.

I'm so glad that you did a vocal analogy of Dr. Kings speech. He was a prolific and gifted orator. And his speech, his dream, has still yet to be fully realized. We should have and could have seen it come to pass. But some people have yet to learn from history. So it keeps being sadly repeated.

Dr King was raised in Priestcraft and the associated theater, in Atlanta, Ga. His father and grandfather were both pastors, leaders . When Tennessee 3 recently stood up for Democracy, I noticed the young Black Leaders speaking with a bit of this magic. Amazing Leader... Beautiful

MLK and Rosa Parks, were tired of the racism and they were willing to stand up for the rights of African Americans. They started a revolution. Some things have changed but there is so much more work needed for full equality.

Memorabile ! ❤🙏🙋

You're saying it is a song in the form of speech and the I Have A Dream is the hook 🎶 yes its the style of southern Baptist preachers. The south don't pronounce the whole word. The English language is very constricted. Non English folks like to be liberated when speaking 😆 not so uptight.
