So, a really cool thing about this performance also, if you read the description, is that these were all planned and prepared for with 2 back up singers in mind. One couldn't make it due to flight delays and it became a day of decision to change it all and lose the back up singers and Chlöe had to adjust, along with the band, to make up for that lack of presence. Which makes it a bit more impressive.

Performances like this paired with Jaron's commentary feel like two dope music classes and makes me miss my band days back in middle school. I always really appreciate these breakdowns, particularly of the Bailey sisters because I feel like they are in a class all their own, and still so young. Chloe's tonal and vocal manipulations are brilliant, it's like she does with notes what magicians do with balloon animals. She's truly a real artist and it's going to interesting watching her evolution.

@cwilliams1620 Same. And people can say what they want, but: (1) that album was not her, it was Beyonce and (2) she be doing more sexual moves than sex itself 😅 I hope she knows we don't need all that to be entertained by such a natural talent. I'm cheering for her all the way, but I have to be honest about that, and hope she learns that, if she doesn't already know that. Watching her perform so sexualy like with the last album, TO ME, was like watching a young lady who is looking for belonging, and thought that the sexy image would give her that. It was literally heart breaking to me.
@mudeasno1baby73
@mudeasno1baby73 Жыл бұрын
@@EarCandyPisces Umm, no. What's heartbreaking is people like you who disrespect her art for no reason. That album WAS and IS her, and Beyonce was nowhere on this album, so stop looking for Beyonce on everything Chloe does. You diminish her talent when you do that. Secondly, Chloe is a physically expressive person in her performances; she's been doing this since she was little, and it's not going to stop, so if you're looking for someone who just stand there and sing, go see someone like Adele. You don't run her art and tell her how SHE should express her art when you weren't there to create it.

Soprano? Her upper register is nearly underdeveloped, She seems to be a straightforward alto
@NeffyLe
@NeffyLe Жыл бұрын
@@jasminewilliams1673 I don’t even like using the term alto. It’s not really a voice classification but a given range for a singer. To me, she’s a soprano with a gifted lower register. Sometimes, lower set sopranos get mistaken for lower voice types when their lower register is comfortable but the rest of her registration sounds soprano to me.

@@shaybar93 I love her voice too! It’s just I know she can go down there without the laryngeal depressing. If she learned to project there instead of artificially coloring the area, the lows would sound naturally dark and full on their own. The depth in her voice sounds a bit forced, especially when a short second later, her natural voice returns and it’s bright and girly like her sister. But this is literally me just nitpicking an excellent singer who is like my top 3. She’s still amazing.
