I’m always amazed how Amy can perform like this with only one lung! So proud they are from The Netherlands, but they should have international recognition!

You know that it's good when a vocal teacher can only smile and make humm-noises during the whole video. Great reaction!

Considering the workflow -- and yes they probably communicated extensively before recording and probably use aids like a click track -- it is still amazing to see how much they harmonized without getting to hear each other while singing. It just shows how much singing history they have together to build that kind of collective vocal muscle memory.

I dont know what i love more, our Disney Princesses or Valerie getting giddy over amazing vocals. I take the safe route, and say i love both equally hehehe One thing i just cannot wrap my head around is the fact that Amy (middle girl) can do those long note, with literally half the "air" as her sisters, her having only one lung and all. Not that her health situation is something that has to be pointed out each and every time, but i am truly amazed at what she can do, the stamina and control she has.. just wow. All three ladies are very powerful singers and together they create magic of a level we rarely see these days, rightfully they are a big part of our national pride. Ty for yet another lovely reaction Valerie, it's always a joy to see how much you enjoy true musicianship, regardless where it originates from. (ofc it goes double so when you react to our Dutch treasures, but thats simply.. national pride hehehe)

They also won The Voice of Holland in 2014 Their blind audition got the 4 judges to turn Bee Gees "Emotion" the Final is a song of theirs called "Magic" on Beste Zangers I'd say my 2 favorite songs are a cover of Emile Sande's "Clown" very emotional and their cover of Ed Sheerans "Sing" they use a technique they mastered as they grew up called Echoing. They also in 2017 were on Eurovision they did their own song I believe "Lights and Shadows" also loved their version of Dolly Parton's Jolene.

Hey Valerie! I recommended this one before to you, but I’ll just do it again. 😊 Please listen their performance of the Dutch song ‘Het is over’ from Beste Zangers 2016. It’s not so much the technical tour de force these girls are so great at pulling, but instead it allows them to dive into the emotion of the song (not that they miss that in their more technical performances!), and to me it it’s still one of the most mesmerizing things they ever did. I return to it regularly!

Hi Valerie, love your reactions and your expertise, might I suggest one of Og3ne’s own original songs: Kinda Wanna, of which they did an acoustic isolation version couple of weeks ago, just their 3 voices and a guitar player (Rory, who is actually Shelley’s (sister with the darkest hair) boyfriend). You can find it on their YT channel, you’ll love it!

FYI: I am pretty sure that all the songs they are doing in these videos were all songs they also performed on their recent theatre shows which was cut short due to the corona crises. This means these are well rehearsed songs and as such can be performed this way.

ChrisEchoes So Whats Your point? Does it matter?
@ChrisEchoes4 жыл бұрын
Oki Doki yes of course does it matter. It would be really difficult to do a song they haven’t done before simply because they haven’t rehearsed it together. And no, rehearsing by phone or online is not viable because you always have lag time and when you are working from 3 different locations that makes that a real issue. You can’t get to work out the exact timings and harmonies when you are not in the same room. They can do THESE songs because they can focus on the piano part (that is recorded first) and they have these songs in their “muscle memory”, something you get when you rehearse a song really thoroughly. These gals are not only naturally gifted but have most likely also a very professional work ethic and approach it as a craft you have to work hard for to maintain and improve.
