Dream come true. Saw her at Madison Square Garden in 1994. Every number...Standing Ovation When she first stepped on stage the packed house audience went ballistic. The welcoming ovation was so loud and so long, she couldn’t start. She begged us to stop. We didn’t. We went on for minutes. The whole thing felt Celestial. The next day, broken blood vessels in my hands and laryngitis from screaming. I want that experience for every Barbra fan.

I took my sister (who was named after her) to see her in Australia when she came to tour here after many years away. I literally had to remind my sister to breathe. We had the same reaction to her here. Numbed and bruised hands from clapping, hoarse voices from cheering. We cried, we cheered, we loved. She was absolutely brilliant!

I’ll never forget the first time I heard her sing “People”. I was a young child and my parents were great fans of her. They had all her albums and it was playing on their record player on a regular basis. I grew up listening to Barbra and became an ardent fan just like my parents.

Only Barbra Joan Streisand can deliver such an outstanding performance. From the film Funny Girl!. As exceptional performance. She is NOT a Nasal singer as the presenter said. She is a Mezzo Soprano!. Three octave promiscuity . She sings with great ease she is just so natural. She packs more dynamic power than anybody I know. She has a lyric soprano voice. She relies mainly on head, voice and air stream. Her music combines a story with poetry. Opera singers might learn from the way Barbra treats singing. The mezzo soprano, and the contralto are lumped together as altos meaning of a mezzo soprano. She is the greatest female artistes to ever grace our planet. She is also an intellectual extremely intelligent knowledgeable woman. She is just PHENOMENAL, AMAZING, and MAGNIFICENT!. Takes my breath away every time she sings.

I'm showing my age, but I first fell in love with Barbra in September 1971 when my cousin played her album, "Barbra Joan Streisand" for me. Barbra remained number one on my list - that is until March of 2017 when another amazing talent came along and knocked her down to second place - and that person is/was DIMASH! However, Barbra Streisand has been and will always be absolutely amazing to me!!! I'm so glad to see that your are featuring her on your channel. Younger audiences need to hear that wonderful, legendary voice!
