her pronunciation is very good for someone who doesn´t actually speak spanish. i´m a native speaker and I´m quite impressed. she even learned to roll her "r" the way we do it and she did it with the right inflections as well.. even she slipped on her "r" a bit at the ending. a great job overrall.

If you compare the two songs together in Spanish/ Mexican you can see the conection between the story/ lyrics / rythm / timing to the "El Rey" to "La Reina". The song was written by some very talented venezuelan musicians and singers (featuring in the video, btw, like, "San Luis" (brothers band), Servando Primera, Jorge Luis Chacín and of course Yasmil Marrufo). As a mariachi singer myself I can honestly tell you that I used to be very critical of Christina's Spanish music because her pronunciation was very whitewashed but I can honestly say that she has definitely made me a fan of hers with this song her pronunciation of the words were on point perfectly said and done and let me add that some of those words that she said in a verse altogether is very hard to speak just in Spanish and general but to sing it with such color such color and the culture of the music also included in her tones and her vibratos in the perfect places was just the best I've ever seen her do and any of her songs any genre any language I tip my hat to Christina Aguilera and she should definitely stick to this type of music

Yeah, her pronunciation is almost perfect. There are some bits here and there when you know she learned it, but we have so many accents in Spanish that it really doesn't matter as long as you can understand. Most importantly, it sounds like she understand what she's singing, so it sounds really natural. This is why she's one of the queens of Latin pop.

a new video which I saw just at the day when it came out! Very beautiful singing and acting and set up picture, and I got goosebombs or how you say in English :-). I was remembered of the greatest Mexican ranchera singers and a little bit of famos and incredible Ana Gabriel : wonderful!
