There are mainly three streams/ideology of music like (1) Hindustani Classical Music (2) Carnatic Classical Music (3) Rabindra Sangeet. Guru (Teacher), who teaches classical music, never allows his disciple to use falsetto or head voice. Shreya usually uses her chest and mixed voice

Some recommendations 1. Arijit Singh gima live , that's way better than last video u reacted 2. Sonu Nigam (another legendary singer who ruled 90s and 2000s)- abhi mujh me kahin mtv unplugged 3. Shreya ghoshal -mere dholna live 4. KK(a legendary singer who ruled 2000's passed away recently, he had a western approach unlike Shreya or Sonu, arijit however uses both western and classical approach he is very versatile, but kk's voice quality is too good, check out these songs for best vocals) -mai khuda(it's very underrated as it's from a movie which was unreleased) -o mama -rock song(he showed his mixed voice in it) -alvida -jeetne ke liye 5. Arijit Singh phir le aya dil mtv unplugged 6. Arijit Singh jo bheji thi dua mtv live 7. Shreya Ghoshal aapki nazron ne samjha Berklee 8. Sonu nigam- Kal ho na ho mtv unplugged 9. Arijit Singh -Binte dil(probably one of his most difficult song) 10. She's a classical singer. Indian classical singers only use their chest voice. That's pure chest voice in my opinion.

Very few and i mean very few American or western singers come in the same level of the top Indian singers. I'm from kolkata and there is a shreya ghosal in every small colony. Most of us don't get any exposure or do singing for a livelihood. Guys like ed sheeran would be considered extremely average in bengali community and I'm not even exaggerating.
