Thats great tutorial.. Let me know because I m new to Cisco. is there necessity to place router? ... can we establish the real voice communication without router ? using for with in the office only not like intercom Please clarify?

Well, if it's within the office, there’s no need for a router. You can use analog phones or PBX systems. However, if you use VoIP, you will need a router to manage the traffic to the internet. I haven't tried analog phones or PBX in Packet Tracer yet. Hope this helps!

Hi @@jordanmalanda7499 I set it up from 1 to 10, which will cover 10 IP phones, even though we only have only 2. You may try to practice and observe it in Packet Tracer. Try to make it 1 to 2, it’s fun to solve problems. Thanks for bringing up the question, appreciated!

Does telephony-service command works in cisco other routers such as 2911

Hi @@npkvpty Well, I have not tried voice register dn yet, but it is designed for non-Cisco devices, such as SIP phones, in a CME environment. While ephone-dn is Cisco proprietary and specifically intended for Cisco IP phones to set up a Cisco CallManager.
