This was my 1st time of checking out the factory presets of TC-Helicon's VoiceLive 2 Vocal Harmony Pedal.

It was a lot of fun until I got to the very last preset. At preset #205 "NOTES CHOIR+UNI" the device seemed to go haywire! I'm still not sure what happened? I suspect maybe there was a glitch between the unit and the M-Audio Axiom 61 MIDI Controller Keyboard that it was connected to. Another idea is that it may have something to do with the fact that the unit is being ran on another recommended and said to be compatible power supply other than the original power adapter supplied by the factory. When I disconnected everything and then restarted the VoiceLive 2, it operated as it should. I'm sure it's probably ok.
It probably just didn't like being connected to the keyboard & being put through the paces!
I have owned the original TC-Helicon VoiceLive pedal ever since it first came out.
Both units are GREAT! I'd like to own my own VoiceLive 2 someday!
They add so much more awesomeness to your vocal sound, both in the studio and live on stage!

You react to the machine quite musically, and I appreciate your musicality. I am quite sure you can sing very well, and that you have what we in Denmark call (my translation) an absolute ear, meaning that you know a C chord when you hear it, and also you obviously have a keen sense of harmony, of many music styles and more. I also like your relaxed approach to not just the effects, but to whatever they inspire you to do. You seem to be using music with an open mind and a lot of talent! And this is a luxury walk through of the many patches on the VL2. So, thank you, and may all the muses be on your side!

Thank You Very Much For Your Thoughtful and Kind Comments! I wouldn't say that I have perfect pitch. But I do pretty good about finding note intervals and chords in relation to a reference note or chord. I do receive a lot of compliments for my singing ability. Many people tell me that my voice is comparable to Geddy Lee, the lead singer of RUSH. Although there are many people that are ok with Geddy's voice, there are some that don't care for it. I like Geddy's vocals. I like his voice because it does feel very close to my own. I know that like everyone else, there are songs that aren't a good fit for me. I know my limitations. My voice is fairly smooth and high pitched compared to the average male voice. So the texture and vocal range of my voice is a better fit for me to sing songs from bands like Rush, Journey, and Led Zeppelin. I also liked your comments about how the presets of the TC Helicon VoiceLive inspired me to react to it in various creative and musical ways. I had a lot of fun trying them all out. I was hearing them for the first time. Harmonizing machines such as these are some of the most fun musical gadgets to play around with! Thanks again for taking the time to check out my video and for the very nice comments. It reinforces my drive and desire to keep learning and being creative with music!
