Looks like the match happened similar to Bob Brown prediction/discussion with Coach Ray few weeks ago. Corey got the first hit but overall Janis force the lane and won convincingly.
@Average1212
@Average1212 2 жыл бұрын
Not really Corey went early like he always does, Janis adjusted and started matching his timing. Like most Europeans Janis doesn't start pre loaded so if a ref doesn't call an early start it will always be a loss. You see in the second round Corey lifting janis's elbow.
@3enjamin
@3enjamin 2 жыл бұрын
@@Average1212 Janis competed in WAL for years and got the hammer already, so it's not like he is new to the loading aspect of NA games. 1st round, is a legit pin by Corey Miller anyway. I consider Bod Brown was right about this.

@@Average1212 Well, just your opinion. Referee didn't think so. Janis false start twice and got caught later rounds and he admitted, he was also doing that but unsuccessfully. So it was the referee you're blaming here. Corey just did what he did.
@Average1212
@Average1212 2 жыл бұрын
@@3enjamin If you have watched many of Corey's matches you know there isn't a ready he doesn't like to go on. There is nothing wrong with this and as refs don't see the matches in .25 speed it is rarely called ( I don't blame refs they have a shit job and are under appreciated). My whole point was Janis did what Janis does, he saw the early start wasn't being called, did it himself to see how early he could go then matched Corey. This is why he is called the Jedi. if you watch the starts in slow motion you can see this clear as day.

first round corey went on ready and with the loose European unloaded setup Janis was flashed, Round two was just a well timed war. Then janis hit early a couple times to dial in Coreys early starts, then after his second foul if you slow it down you see Corey go on ready and Janis catch him. Janis was learning the Ref as much as he was learnign Corey. East and west pulling are quite different.

Janis is used to loose European setups Corey was loading backpressure lifting Janis and it wasn't being called. Different style refing and setups. Round one and 2 were more Janis figuring out the Ref then pulling against Corey. That is why he had the false starts he was trying to match Coreys early starts. If you slow down the pull after Janis's second false start foul you will see Corey go on ready, and Janis catch him. He just had to dial in the Timing.
