It is amazing, I’m not sure what to think about it to be honest. I just can’t get past Ashley’s little parlor trick. Every time I think they can’t top themselves they prove me wrong.

Great reaction, guys! I look forward to more Voiceplay reactions, they really are that good! They also have a very loyal fanbase who will be here every time you react to them! Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci - bass. Layne Stein - beatboxer and baritone Eli (rhymes with jelly) Jacobson, bald - tenor Cesar de la Rosa with all the hair - baritone/tenor joined Voiceplay last year Adriana Arellano - featured, artist. Her parents have worked with members of Voiceplay for years in the Orlando area. They invited her to join them as a featured artist when she turned 15, they did a Frozen 2 Medley. This is her third number with them along with a couple of minis (short pieces on their Voiceplay Minis channel). For a change of pace, I recommend We Don't Talk About Bruno.

The two gentlemen in front are originals to the group from back in 1997. The guy with long hair, Geoff Castalucci, is their bass and has a five octave range. Next to him is Layne Stein who was originally their baritone, also with a five octave range, beatboxing and does not limit himself to a drum kit. Some people have remarked that it’s like he swallowed an alien because some of the sounds he makes are very unusual. The two gentlemen on the outside in the back are the tenor and the baritone. Eli Jacobsen, tenor, is the bald gentleman who’s been with them since 2010. Not only does he have a four octave range but he has probably the most versatile voice of them all, being able to cover just about every style. Cesar de la Rosa, with all the hair, joined them about a year and a half ago and he is not limited to his designated range either. we’re still finding out what he is capable of and he is always surprising us. They all have insane ranges and in the recent cover of Aerosmith dream on, Cesar is the one who took on the high note scream of Steven Tyler. The bass and Adriana‘s father are good friends and she started performing with him a few years ago when she was 15 years old. She is now 17 and personally I can’t imagine what she’s going to be like in a few more years. This is a bit of a departure for them - they don’t usually do teenage angst songs but Adriana was with them and she requested it. They absolutely slay Disney covers, they do Broadway theatricals , they do pop and rock and a lot of older classic songs. The bass , Geoff Castellucci also has his own personal channel where he does have musical accompaniment and also harmonize with himself generally a four or five part harmony. My favorite is his cover of Misty Mountains from the hobbit, although his current release of Elvis Presley‘s Way Down is an absolute delight. I’ll always be here if you’re going to cover either VoicePlay or Geoff Castalucci. We are a very loyal fan base.

You should check out "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from VoicePlay. It's really fantastic and Layne's beatboxing is crazy. The way he ends that one is straight fire!

I didn’t think I was going to like this one at first, but it has really grown on me. I think one of the main reasons is the contrast between the angry scorned teenage that Adriana plays (convincingly)in this one vs the totally sweet “Who” she plays in “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Go check it out while this video is fresh in your minds. 😁 Lately, VoicePlay is on fire. They and Home Free are my favorite groups, and I LOVE watching people discover them!

Adriana did You're A Mean One Mr Grinch (when she was 15? someone correct me), and several others with Voiceplay since. Watching such an amazing singer mature is a pleasure. I can hardly wait to see what she is doing in another 5 years. Voiceplay fills their 5th spot with guest singers, and have an absolute talent for showing the best of the guest artist. They say they arrange for the voices they have, not the voices they want, and they hit it 100%. I believe Adriana approached them about this song, and AleXa approached them about doing Enemy (which they greenscreened her since she was in S. Korea). For Disney covers try We Don't Talk About Bruno, Friends On the Other Side, Moana, or the Little Mermaid Medley. For Epic try the Dragon Born Comes, My Mother Told Me, (you did Hoist the Colours), Queen in 5 Minutes or the Oogie Boogie Song For less theatrics and pure music blast try Warriors, Aerosmith's Dream On, or Wayward Son Have fun!

Geoff and his bass surprises everyone when they first hear him. Voiceplay do almost everything themselves.. Arrangements, lighting editing etc. There are so many more to listen to that will blow you away. Xx
