it actually hits me seeing Qui-Gon so sad when anakin and obi-wan fight, they were his responsability, he was like their father, watching his kids fight, and, while its true that if Qui-Gon had survived the story would be much diferent, i still think that if obi-wan had rescued anakin from burning it would had also changed, keep anakin safe, have him healing, he had only one arm at that point, he was not a threat in any way, give him time to clear his mind, maybe give him a chance with his kids, heck, the jedi were almost gone by this point with windu dead and yoda disapearing to a bog, have anakin return to tatooine or somewhere nicer where he could watch his kids grow with normal lifes, away from the jedi and empire, a life as a father may had saved him, the chosen one was too much of a burden to put on a child

For those who don't know, what Palpatine was doing at the start of the fight was a kendo form. It's made to bait your opponent into attacking you, while you are in the position of the men strike which is just striking down onto the head of your enemy. (Kendo is the base of almost all of starwars fighting)

I’m curious to. But in canon (from the novelization) anakin hated himself for it. He hated everybody else of course but unlike other sith... he also hated himself. He felt that he could not go back. That it was to late for him to return to the light. Hence why when Luke was talking to him and telling him that he could sense the struggle within him, that there was still good in him and to let go of his hate, Vader replied “it’s to late for me, son” truly tragic.

I always thought the high ground was like a balance point. Fighting down the hill so to speak, obi Wan would have had it easier to push anakin back or break his balance with heavier hits. Also if you guys have to move, everyone should be asked. You need a space for force ghosts to appear, a whine cellar, a weed and miruvor dealer, and a redhead named Lilly in the house. Bunk beds might also be a good idea to safe space. That might also be a good idea for a video. Bedtime story read by Charlie to all his roommates.
