Voices for Peace Launch Event at U.S. Congress

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA launched its "Voices for Peace" event at U.S. Capitol Hill on December 4, 2023 at the Rayburn Building. The aim of the gathering was to call for peace, de-escalation and a ceasefire in Gaza.
The event was emceed by Harris Zafar (National Assistant Secretary Public Affairs - Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA) and featured the following speakers:
Dr. Craig Considine (Professor - Rice University, Houston)
Honorable Jim McGovern (U.S. House of Representative D-Massachusetts)
Imam Azhar Haneef (National Vice President and Missionary In-Charge, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA)
Special pre-recorded message was sent by the Honorable Karim A. A. Khan (Chief Prosecutor, International Criminal Court)
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been holding such events throughout various chapters in the U.S.
