So Richard Whitehead has been critical of NHS Prosthetics for not spending enough on artificial limbs so that he can run faster and win more medals, hence lining his pockets. He needs to appreciate his ability to run and win medals does NOTHING for the UK as a whole, he is deluded in believing what he does, actually makes a difference to the majority of those paying for the prosthetic department in the NHS. His rant is self-serving, nothing more nothing less. He should be grateful that his prosthetics were supplied, as many folks struggle to see a doctor, but then again they're not deluded in thinking they more worthy of investment. Let us be honest, once he has ended his athletic career he will disappear from the public eye as the only time he is current 'in vogue' is during the Paralympics.
