Voices of Mangamuka Gorge: Tiaan Volschenk

Meet Tiaan Volschenk, Surfacing Supervisor for HEB Construction in the Mangamuka gorge. Tiaan’s role focuses on the critical task of overseeing the installation of the final asphalt surface, bringing us closer to reopening the road. We're nearing completion of asphalting up in the gorge and the team is working to finish installing the crash barriers, signage, and line marking, ready for the road to reopen to the public at 12:01am on Friday 20 December 2024.
