Voices of Resilience

Cancer Care: "Voices of Resistance" is a powerful short film that shares the stories of breast cancer survivors Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) President Margaret Froh and past MNO Youth Council President Jordyn Playne. Their personal journeys of resilience are complemented by insights from Dr. Sarah Rask, a Medical Oncologist at Hudson Regional Cancer Centre. This film sheds light on the unique challenges faced by Indigenous peoples in accessing cancer care and highlights the strength and perseverance of these inspiring individuals.

Fighting cancer is something we should all be able to get behind. We need more money for research and development of better treatments.
